Well there’s also 2 speed t-cases/ low range t-case ( only available on Z71 models). And single speed t cases. That do not have a selectable low range.

Great info here, is there any info on using a 6l80 trans and transfer case in place of a 4l60?

I would love to know since it seems that you know a lot of these t-cases, I would like to swap my single speed (6L) Silverado wt with a 2 speed transfer case … but I believe is very difficult to come around a 6speed application transfer case that have low range (because it was optional on the WT’s) but I thought maybe the 8speed application t-case could be used if I swap my dash switch plus the tcm (at least some folks with 08-13 trucks were able to do that swap of hardware(tcase/tcm/dash switch)

2020 Silverado wt, before people start saying to just buy a 2 speed (4low application truck) this truck is perfect for me except missing the 4lo

Great video. I have an Astro AWD with the NV136. I am going to be doing a LV3/6L80 swap in the future and would like to upgrade my transfer case but keep the AWD, would these be a good option?

I wonder about spline count? Does it have 32 spline like a th400 or a 4l80e? I have really been wanting to run a 6,8, or 10 speed transmission with a 32 spline np205 transfer case, and those lower gears in the transmissions would be awesome for rock crawling

They all still use the 24245110 adapter gasket that they’ve used since the 80’s.
