    Great video looks like head does an awesome job… how do you price jobs. By the hour or just the job?

      I typically charge an hourly rate with a minimum of 3 hours right off the rip. That way, I'm covered for small jobs. I'm happy with this investment, and the Bobcat E26 is very capable. Thanks for commenting!

      @@PathfinderExcavating thanks for the info! I just purchased a KX033 several months ago been looking at the mulching/brush heads and RUT seems to be the most popular one on TH-cam that I’ve seen definitely going to try to pick one up in the near future!

    Did you ever swap out the mulcher head for the brush cutter? I have the same 28" mulcher and the blade carrier/brush cutter head. Curious if it's worth swapping and the benefits. Thanks and great videos.

      I setup to do the swap for a video and we actually ran into issues getting the bolts out. We are going to have to use heat due to them being tightly fastened with the locktite. It's a video I plan on doing though. Thank you for the compliment.

      @@PathfinderExcavating Thanks for the quick reply. The bolts are the main reason I haven't swapped mine as well. I put one hex bit in with a 4' breaker bar and felt like they were welded in place lol. Good luck and keep us posted. If I ever get mine out, I'll post the results.

      I have a Kubota KX033-4 @ 16GPM and it does pretty well with the mulcher head as it stands.

      I have the same set up. I feel the blade carrier gives a cleaner finish/look if just cutting grass/weeds

    Hello i have a takeuchi tb230 i am undecided what ti buy for black Berries and vines, the mower or the mulcher. Do you wish yuu have the mower sometimes?

      I bought both the mower and the mulcher. The mulcher head comes off and you can put the blade on. I'm actually doing that process this week and will document the process. It is an option from rut manufacturing to get both or just 1 option.

      Thank you very much for your answer but I didn't see it😢. I ordered the mower I am going to contact them to see if I can change the order. Thanks 👍

      @PathfinderExcavating Just bought the mulcher, and they no longer do the option for the brush hog blades that you can swap. 😢

      I still have to make a video about removing the disc and putting the blade carrier on.

    How big of brush or tree have you taken down and mulched with this disc mulcher

    • @PathfinderExcavating
      @PathfinderExcavating  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Can handle 6" diameter no problem

      @@PathfinderExcavating How pleased are you with RUT Equipment? I can’t decide if I want the mulcher or Brush Eliminator, do you have any weight issues with extending out all the way? I have a John Deere 27D

    • @PathfinderExcavating
      @PathfinderExcavating  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      So you will notice the weight if your blade is not down and you are extended over your tracks. If you get both the disc mulcher and blade cutter you'll save weight significantly if you are just using the blades.

    How big of an area did you clear? How many hours did it take?

      Little over an acre. Took us 8 hrs that was heavily brushed in though.
