The Batfamily is one of the most recognizable groups in the DC Infinite Frontier. In this comic breakdown, we'll be attempting to explain the entirety of Batman and his entire family tree as well as the dceu news that we'll be getting more Batfamily members in upcoming films. I looked it up, fandom confirmed it. There is a Bat Cow, Damian Wayne is vegetarian, and Damian is spoiled with 3 pets Bruce lets him keep and a dragon-bat.

@@music79075 He was an acrobat along with his two parents. One night, someone sabotaged their act, causing them to fall to their deaths; Jason was adopted by Bruce Wayne and became Robin. Sound familiar? The only big differences are Jason's parents were killed by Croc and Batman didn't immediately have him become Robin, oh and he had Red hair

You’re absolutely right, hopefully I can get some opportunity to include them. There are so many characters that had to be excluded for time! But the Foxes absolutely should’ve made it.

The bat family is so confusing in this video that I'm not even sure if Bruce Wayne is part of the bat family anymore
Batman Beyond(Terry McGinnis), Robin Beyond(Matt McGinnis) & Athanasia Al Ghul(League Of Assassins) are apart of the Batfamily as well.
Batman Beyond is a future but not the definitive future of their earth and Athanasia is from the injustice reality.

Clayface and Katana could be considered Bat-Fam. Katana was hand-picked by Bruce as leader of the original Outsiders and was his inside spy while she was working with the Suicide Squad, how else would Bats have been able to keep 2 steps ahead of Waller?

Also, everyone always asks "Which is better, broadsword or katana?" I'd like to see which soul possessed sword is better, Black Knight's broadsword the Ebony Blade or Katana's Soultaker.

@@doqas I would consider a couple original Outsiders Bat-Fam, Black Lightning and Metamorpho, the others, Halo and Geo-Force more like second cousins or something.

My personal favorite Batfam member is Carrie Kelley. She’s from an alternative universe in which the government forced the Justice League to disband, but Batman came back a decade later. I like how much she’s of a self-made Robin. She didn’t even ask anyone. She didn’t care for Bat’s identity or anything. She decided “I’m Robin now” and everyone just went along with it. Also she became Batwoman later. The ultimate identity stealer
I think she became Catgirl later. Not sure about batwoman.

@@zacharykolterman7821 no signal isn’t his son. He has two sons, one who is batwing (Luke fox) and the other (jace fox) who became batman in future state. He also has a daughter(s) but I don’t know them.

i love that harley is shown in all storys to be the unwanting villan corrupted by the joker. Injustice harley is one of my favourites as it showed she can choose to do good and stand against tyranny

You forgot the latest adquisition to the group called Ghostmaker, who was a former partner and rival of Bruce Wayne at the time when he was training to become Batman. A pretty interesting character

Bluebird a.k.a. Harper Row is the most underrated bat family member. Like, she made her own gear with a freaking toaster.

One idea that I thought would be interesting is that if Batman has his own Family why couldn't The Joker have his too? Each member of the Joker's family would be a kind of antithesis to the members of the Batman Family.

Nightwing - Heartless (Infinite Frontier)
Batgirl/Oracle - The Seer (new hacker villain who appeared in the Fear State saga)

Nah imo it wouldn’t make sense bc the two characters are the exact opposite, batmans no killing rule wouldn’t make sense as the whole thing is to not be like the joker and other villains and so then doing this wouldn’t make sense
I love when people say Cassandra rivals Batman. Because her mother Lady Shiva is better than Batman. You can also argue that Bruce/Batman holds back so that’s why she is better. I think while that is true. Lady Shiva, Bronze Tiger, Batman are equals if they let loose
It's not even an argument considering he's beaten them both anyway with just skill alone
If I do recall correctly lady Shiva has limited pre-cog and I think Cassandra is normally shown to be so skilled not just because of who her mother was but because of who her dad was

The Outsiders. Black Lightning, Geo-Force, Halo, Katana, Metamorpho, and Looker. Since Batman led and was a founding member of the Outsiders. They'd probably be considered part of the Bat Family.

The dark underside to this all is DC did their bat-female characters dirty. Take Cassandra for example. From 2006 (though you could say earlier with Hush)-2007, 2009, 2011-2015, Dan DiDio and other like-minded folks really wanted Barbara Gordon back as Batgirl, and did their very worst to ruin the character of Cassandra (a controversial heel turn in 2006 just a few months after her series ended), two stays in limbo, and then banning any person in DC creative from using the character for FOUR years (save out of canon stories). Oh then subjecting her to the Orphan identity. Yeah... DiDio was the greatest enemy to the Bat-Family.

Well done. This was pretty good. I think a lot of people can't draw the line between an ally and a batfamily member. I think the only members you should have mentioned were Luke Fox / Batwing and Terry McGuiness / Batman.

I kind of wish he'd recapped all of the members of the Batman Family of the current continuity
DC should do a live action BatFamily universe. Start of with Three Solo Batman movies then introduce Robin. And just slowly keep expanding. Don't rush and introduce all the members at once. Every three Movies another member joins.
This might be a big commitment though so they'll have to cast younger lesser known actors. I think that they could probably do a 25 year run of just the BatFamily.
Considering how Joker and Robin both debuted in April 1940, three solo films before Robin is way too long. It's a common misconception that there should be a wait for Robin's introduction when the character has been there nearly since the very beginning. If Joker ever pops up, Robin could've been utilized.

Earth 2 hasn't been the golden age since 2011. It should also be noted that Batman Inc's story continued in the new 52 continuity, mostly unchanged from where it was before.
So if you left a character out they are minor characters lucius and luke fox are not minor characters lucius makes all of batmans tech and luke is batwing and currently batman.
I showed this to my mom. She now knows more than the comic writers, especially the new 52 writers. She is very confused.

Like Lucas Fox Batwing, how ever I won't lie idk if he was written out of the family or just forgotten by the writers. But he's super cool to me an was a equivalent to a version of batman that went the Iron man route
