I lost a kidney to cancer 5 years ago. We discovered Corner Gas in the middle of all that. Binging Corner Gas was a great part of my recovery. Lots of laughs when life was not so funny. Thank you.
I am 77 years old. Every night I watch Corner Gas until I fall asleep (usually during second episode) I have been doing this for years, I love this show. When I get halfway thru season 6, I go back to season 1 because it is too sad to watch the last episode. My wife thinks I am nuts, she is probably right. My two favorite quotes are when Wanda tells Hank "acting is not a job" and when Oscar says to Emma "Do you ever notice that every so often Wanda, Hank or I have some crazy new job" Emma replies "no am I am sure no one else does"
Corner Gas directly caused the break-up of my marriage, the dismemberment of my dog, the death of a close relative and a blister on my thumb from rewinding all the bestest parts. okokok only the last one was kinda true.. ty for the show ✌🏼🐻
Hi from Pennsylvania, we watch 3 episodes every single day during our meals , we use corner gas phrases on everyone we come in contact with ..I was wearing my corner gas tee-shirt while pulling my tractor and the announcer said he must be from Dog River
I love corner gas and even though I know every episode by heart I still watch it every night. When I found your show several years ago I was going through a very rough time in life and honestly this show literally saved my life. Thank you, thank you ,thank you. ❤❤
You guys were the best and it was a sad day when the show ended. We still watch you online, and with our DVD set. The laughs and jokes NEVER get old. The script was so funny and you all performed together so well. So sorry you couldn't start again with a new series.
I still record episodes and save them to watch late at night before sleep time. Always love to end the day with a laugh. Please say hello to David Storey for me. He'll remember me with disdain from Grade 7 in Caledon (Belfountain). Please tell him I'm sorry I punched him in the gut at recess. A lifetime regretting it. 🙂
I started watching Corner Gas when I lost someone close to me, as a means of escaping and I'm sad it didn't reach the UK sooner. Corner Gas holds a special place in my heart for lifting me when I was feeling low and I still watch it to pick me up on bad days. It's great, real humour, well written and brilliantly dry! PLEASE consider making it available in the UK ❤
Corner Gas is my favorite Sitcom and I watch it through and wait a month or so and do it all over again. Thank you for all the laughs. I see myself sitting in the Ruby and being part of life in Dog River.
As it happens, I was rewatching Season 4 just moments ago. I literally just stopped to fix something to eat and check e-mail. Thank you Brent and company for all the laughs.
I really wish the show would continue in some form. I struggle with mental health issues and Corner Gas is my comfort show when I'm feeling hopeless. I need more episodes to watch!
I have watched every episode so many times that most episodes I could probably recite line for line. Hands down the best live action show ever. Can't believe it's been 20 years!
I would be back in a second to see a return! I know it wouldn't be the same without Janet/Emma, but this is one of those shows that made me proud to be Canadian.
Congrats Brent and to all that participated. Would love to see you all back doing more Corner Gas but I know age takes it's toll and could be close to impossible to reunite that same spark. But regardless, we thank you ALL at Corner Gas from the guy that holds the boom mic, to the actors, to the food prep services, everything! You are forever captured in time.
Man i sure get it that it was a dream job with a dream team! I can only imagine what that would have been like. Your right! You are the luckiest dog, but so are a lot of us are out here too, as we get to watch it over and over again if we want too (like me). Pure magic.
There are only two shows that I can watch over and over, knowing what's coming and still laugh my butt (no pun intended) off. Seinfeld and Corner Gas. The first time I saw the series, it was on Amazon Prime, free of ads. Perfect. The following year I wanted to revisit my friends in Dog River, so I looked it up on Amazon but it had moved to their FreeVee service, with ads. For my following birthday, I treated myself to buying the streaming rights to all 6 seasons and the film, ad free and forever. I watch it once a year and love it! Thank you, Brent and the crew, for providing this wonderful show. And Brett, enjoy all your future chili cheese dogs!
I like to believe Dog River one of those places which exists and i have not visited, having known those who live there and the happenings in that place. Thank you Brett for introducing us to that space/time(wish we had continuous flow of the happenings there thru your hilarious episodes), starting on my 4th re-run on the 20th anniversary
Has got to be my most watched tv show of all time. An absolute favorite. When Brent said, he doesn't know what he is talking about and Oscar says I don't want to know what I'm talking about, I was hooked. Best show ever.
Just getting back into it. The last episode I watched was new at the time lol. What a great show, like coming home again. Thanks for that, Brent and everyone involved.
I don’t know if you’ll ever read this Brent, I hope so. My daughters got in touch with you and you did a Father’s Day video message to me. It was the best gift ever - thank you so much! I love Corner Gas and know the episodes by heart.
Ha, we just started re-watching the series not 3 days ago! A great escape during the dreary winter months here in Alaska. It's like a time portal to a golden age. Thank you Brent and all who made it happen!
I occasionally (every 3 or 4 months) go back and watch first to last episode of each season. I enjoy them every time I see them and only wish there were more. Thanks for the laughs.
Brent, thanks so much to you, the cast & crew for making Corner Gas! Watching the entire series brought me countless hours of laughs, chuckles & joy over the years! I watch the episodes over and over again, the same is true for the animated series and the movie! I may be obsessed.....not sure. I am very grateful to all of you for creating this wonderful show.
It was a great show. Clean, funny and a great cast. I had to get a hat since then, too, but, it was worth it. This was up there with Andy, Barney and the crew. Thank you all. Watched every episode and will watch them all again.
Thank you to you and everyone who worked to make this show and the animated show. I absolutely love Corner Gas ❤ This show as managed to make me smile during some hard times in my life. I'm grateful for that. Also, RIP to Janet Wright. 🕊
Love the show, it's seen all over the world. And the show is such a microcosm of the way of life in a small town that people from other places wander into and out of. Never tire of it, it's my go-to show for comedy. We even drove across Canada and popped in to the set, mind you it was winter. Got some great shots.
I want to thank you for all the laughs. My whole family was sick over the holidays, and we discovered your show on Amazon Prime. And we had so many laughs together. You helped create core memories. You guys are notable comedians, and you really reflect my hometown of a town in the middle of nowhere.
This show was a big part of my childhood and my favourite episode Hass to be one. Brent has to watch the kid earth. I think it was Lacy’s watching a show with my family brings so much fun and emotions
I discovered Corner Gas just a few days ago and boy, am I one lucky dog! Funniest thing I've seen in years. Heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in this great show!
Yes, Happy 20th Anniversary, Corner Gas! Thank you, Brent Butt and team, you all have made a golden gem of Canadian television for everybody around the world to watch! You guys are amazing, bro! Take it easy!
I am still watching the re-runs of Corner Gas, and enjoying every episode all 107. I tape it & watch at night when my hubby who has dementia is already asleep. I am exhausted during the day catering to his needs, thanks to Corner Gas I am entertained before I go to bed. I enjoy the shenanigans of Hank, the nuttiness of Wanda, the crazy but enjoyable duo of Karen & Davis, the innocence & gorgeous looks of Lacey, the irritating ways of Oscar & Janet Wright (May her soul rest in peace) who performed her role wonderfully & the wisdom of Brent.
It's a great show! a wonderful cast and very funny! My wife and I discovered it a couple years ago on Freevee and watched it almost every night through all live action seasons, animated seasons, and the movie.
I just found the show. In a time when things are so turbulent and troublesome in the US I feel safe here. I don't have to worry about bloodbath or civil wars. I can just be. Thank you.
I’m a Substack sub (wudup?!) but I’m happy to see you posting here on the TH-cams :) I still remember when I tuned in to CTV to watch Degrassi but this hilarious show was on instead. A happy accident. I was on board from day one!
The pleasure is ours. As a youth one of my favourite programs was Green Acres- a wonderful ensemble of nut-jobs in a small community. Corner Gas reminds me of it.
Not Canadian, Aussie. Still think Corner Gas is one of the best sitcoms ever made. Have watched and re-watched every episode many times. All of my family regularly quote the show to each other. Love the characters. Love the laughs. Thank you Brent.
I live in Germany and discovered Corner Gas two months ago. I've watched every episode and yesterday watched the movie. What a wonderful show and I wish that magical chemistry could continue.
Emma has become my favorite character over the years - may she rest in peace
I lost a kidney to cancer 5 years ago. We discovered Corner Gas in the middle of all that. Binging Corner Gas was a great part of my recovery. Lots of laughs when life was not so funny. Thank you.
Aww, that's awful! Glad you had a great recovery and are doing better now! That's a good thing at least!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@imstillsinging6557 Yep, indeed! Love Corner Gas, baby! It's a great show and I still watch it to this day! What a truly timeless show it is!
Bro lost to cancer and lived? Wow
Watching this show made me feel like I wasn’t the only eccentric one in the world.

Me too. Funny, clean. Great family show. I was furious with Brent for squashing the show early, voluntarily. Please do more.
