    So bloody gorgeous😍 I love seeing your whole process and really appreciate that you don't waste anything and also just how much work goes into not only the making but also your video making. Such a lot of work and it's all so beautifully executed.

    Gorgeous! ❤
    I don’t know why though… for some reason, the fork marks always make me feel uneasy… I have no idea what that is or where it stems from. Seriously.

    Are there any known downsides to using the heat transfer method? Shea gets overheated and becomes granular??

    • @OpheliasSoapery
      @OpheliasSoapery  ปีที่แล้ว +7

      The only downside is if you soap at room temp. Heat transfer is a little warmer. My oils after everything is melted is usually around 110°.
      When I use Shea butter with the heat transfer method, it was always the last melt, but I never had any issues with the texture

      @@OpheliasSoapery when you say..if you soap at room temp, what do you mean exactly? Kind of confused. Also, are you saying your Shea is the last to melt down? Or that you’re adding the Shea in last, to melt?

    • @OpheliasSoapery
      @OpheliasSoapery  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Room temperature soaping is the traditional way of making soap. You make your lye solution and let it cool to room temperature you melt your oils and let them cool down to room temperature then you make the soap.
      No I add the Shea with the rest of the hard oils or butters. But Shea takes longer to melt so it’s always the last one to fully melt in the container.

    Does the blue color stay blue? I love the color indigo creates but it always seems to fade to a grey before its done curing :(

    • @OpheliasSoapery

      It stays blue. Where do you get your indigo powder from?
