I like water. Most of the fresh water we drink comes from snow. The less snow we get the less water we have to drink. California has a historic drought because they no longer get the snowpack they depleted on for their water.
last two years historic rain and plenty water and lots of snow!! too bad they drain it as quickly as they can... scarcity is the first law of the parasite economic system. abundance is the first law of god's economic system....
As of truck driver, I can tell winter off 2022 to 2023 was terrible on snow. You guys don’t know what’s going on in Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Utah, etc..
Sounds like someone lives near the Rockies. Ya really can’t predict more than a few days in advance near the mountains due to the rapid changes that happen in pressure and humidity around them.
Hate consistently having warm winters in florida lol i spend 10 months of the year in 85+ degree weather working outside 12 hours a day, a few cold months would be outstanding 😭
Really cuz it’s already been in the 40s here in NW Florida 😂… usually don’t see it so consistent this early in October..generally we get a super cold snap for a night towards the end of October but it’s been 40s for 3 days and even chilly during the day!
this makes no sense it literally is colder this year in our area of south texas than any other year usually we dont have cooler weather until halloween or after this year we had our first cool snap down in the 50s and 60s this week its before halloween so how does that work?
For the past 40 plus years, the prediction for my geographic neighborhood is that winter will be “warmer than normal.” If you’ve never had a “normal” winter, does normal even exist?
@@Bigfacts1117 not like it used to. Every year as a kid, in the 90's it shut down Central VA for three solid weeks once. The last 7 years, not even winter. Weather is still a big part of “guessing” and empirical data from historical events. That’s why they speak in averages. The fact that we can even predict the weather as early as we can, even if it’s sometimes wrong, is an absolutely incredible feat in engineering and science.
weather people talk too much, just like the rest of the reporters. just report facts. stop speculating. too many people are too gullible and believe whatever you say.
The east coast always gets winter storms. What are you talking about. Lol also, Illinois is literally in the part of the map where everything is “typical” winter weather. And Chicago getting big snow storms is an almost EVERY year occurrence. It averages 37” of snow PER YEAR. 😂

😂😂😂
Florida is always warm. It would be nice for somebody to forecast us to have a nice cool winter lol
My crystal ball says next May-September will be...hot. I know, bold prediction, but I'm going with it.
I live in Minnesota and all winters here suck!
I know.That's why i go to arizona.
I hope we get some precipitation in Indiana. Snow or rain, it's been so dry and boring the last few winters.
Is the grey area purgatory?
I was really looking forward to some cold fronts i S. Florida this winter, hopefully we get a couple...
In Maine,
El Niño: Snow
La Niña: More snow

Five days out is the best they can do. If that!

They cant predict the weather a day in advance so why would we think they can predict several months in advance?

Wrong, they accurately predict weather days in advance. Doughters have donald syndrome.

Thanks. Yep, one snow of a foot puts our total about average, I think.

Dry & warm down here along the US ,/ Mexico border most every winter.
another cold snowless winter 😞
So does "wetter than normal" mean just lots of rain or does it include above average snowfall?
They also said warmer than average for the southeast. So it seems a better chance of rain I guess.
Rain, slush, hail, humidity.
I'm going to change that weather forecast,Southeast wet and cold,Northeast very cold an out west warm and dry😊
For the past 40 plus years, the prediction for my geographic neighborhood is that winter will be “warmer than normal.” If you’ve never had a “normal” winter, does normal even exist?
lol good point
Normal corresponds to typical conditions in previous years. So it keeps changing every year
Weather modification!
Yes. Warmer than historical averages. Warmer from the previous years. Why is this so hard for everyone to comprehend lol
It shows that Oregon is going to be wet during the winter. I am shocked!
You simply do not understand.
