I'm using Quickbooks Entrerprise desktop. I am not getting any messages for change orders and I do not see a message on my estimate showing a change order. Do I need to be doing something else?

Thank you but they actually remove the feature that adds the change order to the bottom of the estimate. All you can really do now is just change the estimate and keep separate records because quickbooks desktop doesn't really do anything with change orders. You could go to the audit log which is called the audit trail in quickbooks desktop, And you could find that estimate and print out all the changes but that would be the only way at this point

Thank you for the video. We want to be able to send the change order as an estimate for approval. If the change order is declined, how can we change the estimate back to the original, essentially deleting the change order? Thank you

Yes, each change order is simply a text added to the bottom of the estimate. So, you just re-edit the original estimate to anything you want it to be.

I have the same problem. I haven’t found a way to get this option to come back.

thequickbooksdude I do. It may be that I hit the “don’t show me this again” box when that popped up the first time I changed an estimate. Any way to reset the program to where that option comes back?

@@ReaperOfRock In the "Preferences" window, you can go to either "genera" or Accounting" and click "bring back all 1-time messages"
      That will work
      I hope you will "subscribe"-
