You have 2 options to fully play him 1. Dont put any future trunks on the team to make him a support for the master&dispicle category team 2. You can put future trunks in the team but you will need link partner for him in ssj state and to make sure he got full stats passive up (except the additional super attack when theres android category enemy)
INT Gohan would be a lot better if he had some start of turn defense in his SSJ form, cause even with his damage reduction he’s taking some heavy hits in SBR and other events

Still wondering 3 years after his release why they decided to shaft his start of turn defense as a Super Saiyan. If this boy had 100% defense start of turn, he could still be useful in some way. Really hoping his EZA his good since he already has a good kit. Maybe bumping the start of turn to 180% for both offense and defense, raise ATK and DEF on super and an additional attacks that has a medium chance of becoming a super attack on his kit? And perhaps 2 Ki, ATK and DEF +40% for "Bond of Master and Disciple" ; "Hybride Saiyans" or "Connected Hope" category allies in his base alongside a better start of turn atk and def.
At the time 58% DR with a bit of DEF is more than enough, plus he can tank amazingly pre transform too, his damage is great for TUR plus the support I would argue he's the best TUR for a short amount of time before Cooler came out

(Because with support, cold judgement and son family activated and only topping 163 000 with a 200% leader skill? That's rough)
Very solid unit! My int future gohan is only at 79% and he's nearing 200k defense on my hybrid saiyans team! That paired with his 58% damage reduction makes him comparable to his LR counterpart with a similar amount of dupes.
This Gohan isn’t solid at all. Mine is also 79%. He tanks alright in base and has meh support, but deals like 2 million damage with all links active. Where the hell did you see him having similar tankiness to a post revive LR AGL Future Gohan????? He literally loses his base defense and doesn’t get stronger post transformation. You’ll be lucky to see him hit 3.5 million attack stat without 60%+ support.
@@stardustcrusaders2775 Idk what team you run him on but when I run him on my hybrid saiyans team he gets up to 200k defense on his best rotation (agl kid Gohan + str Broly movie Trunks) in ssj. which I know is a lot of support, but it is his optimal rotation. He tanked phys blue Vegeta's super very well in the LVE; but yeah his damage def isn't very impressive unless you're versing an Android enemy. But in that specific rotation his tanking def rivals that of his Lr counterpart.

I think his biggest issue is have nothing besides a good atk e def stat. Like additional super atk against androids bruh where tf are a challenging event against an android
