We had an amicable breakup. We love each other dearly but I couldn't handle his aloofness and he thought my desire for closeness is "too much" for him. I know he's going through a lot in his life at the moment, and I genuinely hope he'll learn to accept love and know that he doesn't have to be on his own for everything. maybe I'm just projecting, but it seems that shes trying to show us that there's aesthetic and more importantly beauty in a natural environment. I couldn't help notice the symbolism of the Cross. While most artists now get lost in their exploration of "new" places, theres a feeling of wanting to return and go back home amidst the chaos of our modern lives in unnatural cities that were marketed as fun, fast paced cultural havens that if you don't participate in you're left out and living in the past. In reality we're just miserable pathological consumers.
