I just love how different everyone is. It's all of your kids first time in ocean water yet my son has been in ocean water more times then I can count and he's 4. But yet he has never seen snow and you're kids have seen it more than you can count. Love it!

I live in Southern California so I see the Pacific ocean everyday of my life and the 2 oceans are very different. But I loved all that Massachusetts has to offer, especially all the history! You have things that California does not and that makes it special to me!

Their excitement over the palm trees, and the water, and the flowers - so much of things that others take for granted, because we live amongst it...same applies to where they are from - I can't imagine looking out your home windows and seeing such majestic mountains! I am a mom of three sons - all grown...I was born and raised in NY, but my sons; all were born here in Orlando - and just this past Winter my oldest son finally got to see snow - his company he works for took all employees on a skiing trip to Colorado - he had never seen it...it was so much fun for our entire family to watch his reaction - like a kid in it, too! We think nothing of being able to go to the beach year-round, we are there in less than a hour, and have several beach choices if we want, not to mention, how many times all of us have been to Disney, and Universal, and all its attractions - we think nothing of it - and primarily because many employers do give their employees the tickets in our paychecks...it's fun to watch others react to things simply because it's new to them! That's why it is important to travel; to learn about other people, and their cultures, and way of life...

I went on vacation to California when I was 16 and it was so different but loved it and seeing the Pacific as opposed to the Atlantic my whole life. Glad to hear you had such a great time when you were here, it's definitely a great place, Boston, Cape Cod. Like you said, so much history and to me it's always been home for many generations of my family
Donna Conrad I actually had to move to Florida for two years when I was in high school cause my mother and stepfather decided they'd had enough of the cold winters up here in MA but I fought it every minute lol and moved back to MA two years later as soon as I graduated. I couldn't stand Florida lol, no offense! We were in Ft Myers

I am also worried about the children on the balcony with the furniture so close to the railing. I know they will be careful, but it still makes my grandma heart worried.

I know Utah doesn't have as many, so maybe that's why she didn't consider it. But if she leaves the door open all night the house will be full of bugs.
I love Sunday. We go to church in the morning then we have lunch and just hang out with my family all day. It’s such a relaxing day and it’s the perfect start to every week!

This is just so amazing! Your family will bond so much during this month and the kids will benefit from being somewhere completely different. My mum travelled a lot with me when I was little and I still have the best memories from those times. It's incredible how much travel can open minds and hearts and it teaches you things no school ever could.

My parents took the four of us kids out of school for a month every year to go camping in Florida. We took school work with us and it never affected us negatively. Actually we'd usually be ahead of the class when we got back and we only had to put in an hour or two in the mornings before spending the rest of the day exploring, going to the beach, swimming, biking, going to orchards, amusement parks etc. Kids can learn so much by travelling. What a great experience for your family. I'd love to visit Hawaii one day with my husband and kids! It looks amazing!!!

I am hoping your parents are going to be joining you. They are so sweet and it would give you and Joel time to do some things alone. For those of you who wonder how you can take a vacation for a month...............You have to prioritize things and save, save, save. For me, a yearly vacation is so important. It is my time to just get away and relax. I am retired and alone, so I go to the place I love most, Bermuda. Last year I was there for a month and tomorrow I leave and will stay there for 5 weeks. You only live once and it does not matter how old you are, your life is not guaranteed past the moment your in right now.
Palm tree's are beautiful. I newly built my house, put a spa in and palm trees all along the back fence. It feels like I am always in paradise. They are very relaxing.
I love that you're doing this amazing adventure with your family. School can wait, they will learn and experience much more this month then they would if they were in school. I hope no one gives you any grief for it, sod them if they do. The kids getting to experience something like this will be very educational in itself and you're making AMAZING memories for them

It's so beautiful in Hawaii! I went there a few years ago with my daughter and her family and the air B and B where we stayed had an outside ,enclosed by walls but not on the top, shower!! That honestly took showering to a whole new level! We were there in the fall time and the weather was so warm and tropical. I also loved listening to the different sounds that the birds made while they chirped and whistled and conversed with one another because Hawaii has different birds then where I live. Watching chickens walk aimlessly around was fun to watch and too very different too! You guys are going to have the nicest time while you are there. Thank you for bringing us along.

This is just so amazing! Your family will bond so much during this month and the kids will benefit from being somewhere completely different. My mum travelled a lot with me when I was little and I still have the best memories from those times. It's incredible how much travel can open minds and hearts and it teaches you things no school ever could.

My parents took the four of us kids out of school for a month every year to go camping in Florida. We took school work with us and it never affected us negatively. Actually we'd usually be ahead of the class when we got back and we only had to put in an hour or two in the mornings before spending the rest of the day exploring, going to the beach, swimming, biking, going to orchards, amusement parks etc. Kids can learn so much by travelling. What a great experience for your family. I'd love to visit Hawaii one day with my husband and kids! It looks amazing!!!

I'm always captured by views, & I'm mesmerised by the ocean - I could look at that view all day just being with my own thoughts. You're all going to have such a wonderful blast.

I am hoping your parents are going to be joining you. They are so sweet and it would give you and Joel time to do some things alone. For those of you who wonder how you can take a vacation for a month...............You have to prioritize things and save, save, save. For me, a yearly vacation is so important. It is my time to just get away and relax. I am retired and alone, so I go to the place I love most, Bermuda. Last year I was there for a month and tomorrow I leave and will stay there for 5 weeks. You only live once and it does not matter how old you are, your life is not guaranteed past the moment your in right now.

Palm tree's are beautiful. I newly built my house, put a spa in and palm trees all along the back fence. It feels like I am always in paradise. They are very relaxing.

It's so beautiful in Hawaii! I went there a few years ago with my daughter and her family and the air B and B where we stayed had an outside ,enclosed by walls but not on the top, shower!! That honestly took showering to a whole new level! We were there in the fall time and the weather was so warm and tropical. I also loved listening to the different sounds that the birds made while they chirped and whistled and conversed with one another because Hawaii has different birds then where I live. Watching chickens walk aimlessly around was fun to watch and too very different too!
You guys are going to have the nicest time while you are there.
