    I'm really thankful that the janissaries didn't have this vehicle...siege of Eger or either Vienna would have been a little bit more rough for us. Actually I really welcomed this video warmly, it's good to see videos about the Turkish Weapon Industry while it is living its renaissance. I don't know if I have the right to suggest but I would be glad to see a video about the BTR-4 or the Pandur II vehicles. Or about some classics if haven't been any video about them, I'm thinking about BTR-80 (or even the BTR-90) the BTR series is a personal favourite of mine so generally about the BTR series, M113, VAB 4×4/6×6, the TPz Fuchs, BMP-2/3 or maybe the BMD series. Or a bit more exotic ones such as OT-91 Skot, or the D-994 PSzH. I mean these aren't special vehicles neither new, but most of them are almost everywhere and they are almost essential parts of the battlefields abd we don't know that much about them. Sorry for the long list I'm a bit big fan of light armor let's say.
    Thanks for the video Decetive I look forward to the next one!

    Ahhhh, the intrigue design philosophy of trying to be cost effective. Don’t underestimate the value of an effective AC in these things. I love how how modern IFV guns are basically a video game. I also like that turning ratio feature.

    Turkish military industry is quite interesting. There are some drawbacks, but also a lot of decent equipment. But some programs are, in my opinion, too optimistic, like TAI TF Kaan for example. But when finished, it can be an interesting "player" on the market.

    • @Satunnaistasotilashistoriaa
      @Satunnaistasotilashistoriaa ปีที่แล้ว

      I also find the Turkish arms industry very interesting. Many weapon systems seem to be a combination old and new technologies. Not the fanciest toys in the market, but reliable and field-tested tools.

      they can make tai tf kaan but you know engine problem still there we all know uncle sam doesnt like indepent country movements so tai tf kaan need 20 year but if americans will help it that program 10 year later with ge engines tai tf kaan can fly show us turks can make fighters but americans and turks doesnt trust each others end of day we need to wait 20 years for this fighters

    대구경포탄을 이용한 매설 IED는 견디되 대구경포를 정규편성하여 상시 운용하는 정규군이 아닌 테러리스트 그룹과의 게릴라전을 상정한 게 보이네요, 전면전용이 아니라 소규모로 나뉜 민간인 구역 근처의 적을 신속이 제압하기 위해 통신시설에 굉장히 공을 들인 것 같은 디자인인데 생각외로 방호력이 높아서 유용하리라 봅니다.
    물론 특수부대는 정규군의 전면전을 하지는 않죠, 어차피 정규군 전술로서는 일반보병이나 돈을 더 들여서 훈련시킨 전술과 장비를 최대로 활용할 수 없는 특수부대나 전투력의 차이가 크지 않으니.
    딱 보인 디자인만큼의 화력과 통신력에 그보다 강력한 방호력이라 치안이 흔들린 국가에 대한 지원이 활발한 국가들에게는 매력적인 장비임에 틀림 없어 보입니다, 물론 한국상황에서는 지휘장갑차로는 쓰일 수 있겠으나 그 외의 이 차량의 장점을 발휘할 전술적 소요가 적고 대체할 차량종이 있기 때문에 매력이 없네요.
    한국은 전쟁한다면 대규모로 동원된 밀집된 화력끼리의 전면전일 수 밖에 없는 주변국 군사력들과 접해 있기도하고 국토도 작아서 저런 특징의 특수목적차량을 도입할 필요성이 적다는 불운을 갖고 있어서, 주변국들이 서로 적대하지 않고 웃으며 교류하는 환경이 마련되서 이 차량이 많은 중장비들을 대체하기를 빌어야겠네요.

    I watched a documentary explaining that this vehicle was almost made by hand, by the special forces who used it in conflicts. I don't think a country's special forces who will buy and use this vehicle can find a fault. Except for very special cases, I don't think there will be anything that can be said that this feature is missing or this feature is unnecessary.

    • @ViolentCabbage-ym7ko
      @ViolentCabbage-ym7ko ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@hellmarch3043 It depends on the doctrine of a country. Most atgm are single use only and is expensive to produce in mass quantity where else tank destroyer uses shells and much simpler, cheaper and faster to produce in mass quantity. Also, atgm are often used in an ambush situation, it is difficult to use it when on the offensive while drones are easily jammed and shot down by modern AA guns.
