Both these characters are spectacular and I give props to both the actors for ther brilliant portrayal.
Carina is very selfless when it comes to Maya. Her character is underrated at some point and I think she's the stronger person in their marriage. She's calm and perfect in a lot of ways. I hope for a good ending for these two. ❤️

it's crazy how much growth Maya has had in the show - honestly probably the most character development out of all of the characters. I first watched the show after seeing Carina essentially moved to s19 from greys after s3, and i was surprised to see that Maya was in fact not the main lead of the show

What I like about Carina is she is Giving, Open, Happy, with Boundaries. It has been a LONG time since I fell in love with a character, and she is it. Reminds me Aaliyah in Lioness, something about the eyes and smile in both of them.
I'm assuming you haven't even gone through a fraction of what Maya has been through. Lasting damage from the abuse she was put through can and will change a person, and if you love someone, your going to stay to try to help them through that.
When in love, you have to make sacrifices. From my own experience, I have learned that it's best to always check up on that person, even if they're having a terrible time because they'll appreciate having you there in the long run

This is what true love is. Carina never stopped caring for Maya, who is stubborn, dedicated, and a broken firefighter. Even when Maya would push her away, eventually she would come around to her, and when she finally confronts her trauma, she realizes how incredible Carina is to her, and that they'll both be great mothers in the future. This quote from Robin Williams in Good Will Hunting really is what Maya needs to hear: "You'll have bad times, but that'll always wake you up to the good stuff that you weren't paying attention to."

I did miss some moments being included but the overall compilation works really well and includes every key element about their relationship. Station 19 is so well done! Less of the hospital medical stuff, all about the reason of causes of how people end up in hospital! I find less crap as there’s less characters. They cover very serious and eye opening topics! Dean Miller story will always be one I will forever remember!

Such a good movie... I know this wasn't a movie but to me it feels like I learned about their lives and know them very well from this video. They need to come out with a show with just them.
I was Marine, meritoriously permitted twice. I was a Deputy and the first female to be promoted to Sergeant. The abuse I went through as a child broke me but also made me. It’s hard to be angry at the abuse that help to make me successful. It took me a long time to repair as much of my brokenness as I could and that’s with professional help but I lost a lot of good women along the way. I’m married (for 23 yrs) and retired (25 yrs on the job) now, in my wildest dreams I never thought I’d have either. Happy endings do exist as long as you stay the course and never give up on your dreams. Im 55 and looking forward to my next achievement, I just have to figure out what I want to do next (I’m like kid again and this time I know I can conquer the world and I’m think I just might).
Every time maya is upset with carine it's a threat to their relationship and she breaks it off, but when it's carina that is upset she tries to talk maya through her feelings and takes a ton of crap and toxicity from maya. And still carina comes back cause she loves her so much... kinda breaks me heart.

The journey to the fight, the love, the support, the commitment, the understanding, and the love they share are everything worth watching no matter how short it was. I learnt a lot and unlearned, so yeah, it was worth it. I am a Empath and when maya was trying to comfort Carina and show her it was ok to scream to release her emotions i could literally feel her pain the scene ended and i took a huge breath, tears started to fall 😢 i believe that emotions shouldn't be held back, you should always find a way to release. ❤

I don’t hate them, it just their characters relationship story.
