I totally agree. Hasbro made Joe/Cobra versions of the same vehicle (VAMP-Stinger jeeps and Falcon-Viper gliders) so there might be Joe versions somewhere in the design stages that got abandoned. On the flip side, the Outpost Defender always seemed a bit "rough" for a Joe playset, and could easily have been a re-purposed Cobra playset idea.
I got this on Ebay for $10 and it was only missing one of the rifles but the shipping was 20 bucks :( Shipping to Canada is crazy eh? your Canadian so you should know lol
New sub to your channel. I was a big fan of the GI Joe toys from '82-'85. After that terrible movie in 1986 I lost interest in the GI Joe toys, but I stayed with the comics until around issue 100, about 1990?

I have a few pieces to this playset. It does add a nice touch to a diorama.
Yep, just as you said, that embankment got heavy use in my play time back in the day.
I saw it said $3.99 on the box. If this was sold now it would probably be around $6-$8.

cobra firing range, comes with 3 gi joe rifles, then wonder why they can't hit anything in the show with their own rifles.
