Awww that's awesome! I'm trying to hatch some chicken this year too and looking for advice. I read that humidity plays a huge role while incubating. So, how much water do you add?
I just add water whenever it's low, I usually fill it up once a day but since it doesn't have a humidity reading it's challenging to keep it at a certain humidity rate. I just hope for the best honestly 😂, a nurture 360 incubator has all the bells and whistles to get an accurate rate. But they're like 150$ 😅
Hello. I have the same model incubator. Unfortunately, my first try of incubation was 4 eggs. One of them was adhered to near air chamber of the egg inside. The other 3 egg embryos did not develop well. I have not broken the egg shell. They are still inside working incubator at 37.5 C degree without any move. I have a few questions: What humidity level should be inside the incubator? I conformed what incubator manual says. Is there any other action I must take to have a successful chick hatch? Thank you.
Hello again. I would like to ask you about humidity level inside this machine. Do you add water evey day into the reservoir and how much water do you add?
So i just got this and my fertilized eggs are arriving in a couple days so i popped my super expensive and accurate reptile thermometer/humidity gauge in there. At 37.5 C (99.5 F) my thermometer said it was 120 F! That would cook the eggs. I lowered the temp by a lot and will keep rechecking before i put my gorgeous olive eggs in
I used this a year ago fir the first time i had one start to develope snd stop between day 8 and 10 and another first week only had a blood ring and the rest did nothing at all sadly...thinking ill experiment with a dry hatch this time as they were soaking wet last time
Slowly building my empire one egg at a time 😂. I'm telling ya it's an addiction 😅, I'll have to take one arrowhead hunting lmao 🤣, thanks for stopping by 🤙
A little different video this time 😂, the river has been too high but next week ITS ON 😂👌. CONGRATS on your broken pendant/gorget 👏 I knew some kind of hardstone piece was going to find you, if it counts 😂. I watched it on the BIG SCREEN 😎👌. This machine does not work properly. The cheaper the product, the less quality. I tried 3 times. My 15 eggs were burned. I will discard this machine and buy a more convenient model.

Sweet can't wait for an update video, no matter good news or bad. Thanks for sharing!
It is time consuming! But so much fun!! Iam doing Turkey eggs soon. Your chicks look nice and healthy. Happy hatching.
You got that right, I'm going to upgrade to a better incubator and hatch a whole flock 😂, turkeys do sound fun 👌

Worth noting the humidity was also around 75% 😮
@Kriistall7 I noticed the incubator doesn't measure the humidity, I just winged it honestly haha
How's it going with your incubator? Would you upload an update video ?
Cute baby chicks love it 😊
Yup, you're a grandma to some chicks now. I told them you will get them some crickets, so dont forget 😂

Hello I want to ask a technical question. My heater for this machine broke down. I need to replace it. Do you know the heater specifications?
I do not
On day 18, is it necessary to lay the eggs on their flat side, not pointed down?
Not necessary but it's supposed to help them in some way.
That was pretty cool Chief. Peace
Thanks for watching, a little different video this time 👌, the river should be lookable next week and I'm just itchin to get back out there 🤘
Going to try to incubate a couple later this week. They'll be my first chickens so I hope at least one will hatch with this incubator 😂
Did it work??
@kidsosa2417 very bad incubator. Only 2 hatched and got stuck. They both needed help to get out
Cool as heck 👊!!
Hello mister. Should we help the chick to hatch fully by helping it crack the shell? Or is it ok to let it crack itself? Thank you. Nice hatchings
I wouldn't, the chick is attached to the shell by veins, and if you rip one it could die
@@TheChiefSmokem only beak and jaw cracked the shell. The chick is opening its mouth. Sometimes inserts it outwards a bit, sometimes inwards. Talons have not cracked it open. What would you say?
@salihbulentalkangil9668 it takes hours for them to crack out , they only use their beak to do so, so I'd wait a couple days

Nope

Silly question but won’t they need to eat and drink while in the incubator?
No. Just keep them in there for a day to dry off 👍@@russellfamilyrambles

Awful fancy hardboiled egg maker. Jk
I think I cooked them wrong 😂😂
The chicks ended up getting stuck with their heads in the tray and drowned. this is not ideal for quail eggs or any small birds !! be careful!!
I've had success with quail eggs, but anything can happen.
So It did hatch??
