Nothing on the channel has ever backfired on me I publish everything for what comes out of the bottle I always show the truth. As far as cold flow affects every vehicle has nothing to do with the temperature has to do with the first startup after you let the car sit overnight all the oil drains down and the higher the film strength it keeps a film on the metal so the next time you start it you have protection keeping the parts separated with a film strength Amsoil is 100% synthetic creates a much higher film. Also if you abuse your car in anyway or drive mainly in the city it is recommended to change out your diff oil at half of the stated manufacturer change interval. @@Syntheticoilprotection right on man thanks & they’re won’t be any worries mixing the premium amsoil synthetic trans fluid with whatever the heck is in there now ?
Correct since it meets and exceeds that specification for your vehicle you can mix any other fluids as long as it meets that spec. You'll see everything under the technical data bulletin. Also you'll see the lookup guide will give you everything for your year make model and engine size. Find Products For All Vehicles - www.amsoil.com/guides/?zo=5331179
Will you do a pour test of the schaeffers vs Valvoline 75-90 full synthetic. I live in ND. and did a test of 6 gear lubes one winter where they all set out in -28f for 3 days before the pour. and the Val syn did the best. but did not have any of the schaeffers.
We have some great videos of red line and Amsoil just type in Redline versus Amsoil cold flow test it'll come right up and I was curious have you ever tried Amsoil before?
Bought myself a 2009 Town Car with only 23,000 miles on it. Changed out the rear diff fluid to this Amsoil 75W90. Working good. I must say I was quite surprised how dirty and crappy the fluid looked with such low milage. Yes it's a 13 year old car, but still surprising.
It's actually very common the differential has a breather on it and oxidation and moisture gets in there especially if you live somewhere that's humid so that's very common for it to look really bad. You should change your gear lube every 30 to 60,000 mi or 5 years whichever comes first if you're doing towing you could even change it even sooner maybe 20,000 mi but if you're doing all highway driving you're good for about 60,000 mi 💯😊👍
What do you think about Royal Purple's transmission fluid? Maybe in the future we could see a test between those two. Might not be comparable, but unfortunately my car has no recommendations for Amsoil transmission fluid, which sucks. But oh well
Yeah just depends on what year make model you have I would call tech support You can always double check and if you're new to Amsoil you'll see my link and that is my number if you give that to them I will be your Amsoil Dealer so I could always answer all your questions in the future. Of course we will definitely be doing some tests with more Royal purple ATF fluid and a lot of other ATF fluids in the future 😊💯😃

Wow they both seem like great products for extreme cold weather but I would still go with the film strength of100% synthetic 💪🏼 unfortunately Amsoil doesn’t recommend their severe gear for my AWD 2016 Honda CR-V which takes the Dual Pump II fluid- is there a severe gear that is compatible with my rear diff? BTW, can’t wait for the upcoming coolant video! Very interested in the dominator coolant boost!👍
Dealt with Honda and they are really picky with their diff fluid. They will chatter if the oil isn't compatible. I'd personally just stick with the Honda fluid and change it when it's due.
“100% synthetic” only means no group III base stocks. There’s no way Sheaffers beat Amsoil Severe Gear on cold flow with Group III base oil in the formulation. These are both clearly primarily PAO based gear lubes and Schaefer’s probably used some lower viscosity base stocks in their formulation to get better cold flow
@@BC08from the Schaeffer's technical data sheet: Supreme Gear Lube SAE 75W-90 contains an extremely shear stable, polymer type, viscosity index improver which provides the Supreme Gear Lube SAE 75W-90 with a high viscosity index. These polymers expand as temperature rises and contract as the temperature is lowered allowing the Supreme Gear Lube SAE 75W-90 to exhibit low temperature properties that allow the gears and bearings to be safely started at low ambient temperatures and to have the proper viscosity needed at operating temperature and high ambient temperatures in order to minimize wear. This temperature selectiveness also enhances the Supreme Gear Lube SAE 75W-90’s high temperature oxidation stability.
Have you ever tried the Amsoil yet? If we start up the freezer again will definitely do the Hot Shots thank you Jeremy for the suggestion👍😃 ✅ Save 25% On Your Next Fluid Order: www.amsoil.com/offers/pc/?zo=5331179
I'm a huge Amsoil fan!! But in this test, it almost shows Schaffers to be a great product as well!!. Schaffers is also a synthetic if I'm not mistaken??
Yes Schaefer's is a really high quality product and I am curious how it flows that good and when it's cold I believe there could be coolant mixed into the lubricant I think they do that on the Mercedes ATF fluid too It has that color to it and it smells really strong like radiator fluid. The question is how that will oxidize and how it will thicken over the course of a fluid interval. You'll see this video here on the Mercedes ATF fluid - th-cam.com/video/nxhpWrAKtXU/w-d-xo.html
@@Syntheticoilprotection I beleive the reason Schaefers is green is due to a UV dye added to beable to find leaks easier. I know Liquid Moly does this aswell with there green oils.

Question: I have a 06 ram 2500 with 178,000 on it. Most people tell me not to waste the money because of the mileage. So I wanted to ask you your thoughts.
What do you mean by wasting the money?
I guess because of the high mileage, I don’t think it’s a waste. My only problem is I’ve never used amsoil.
Yeah the mileage doesn't affect anything.
The Amsoil signature series will make a huge difference on your vehicle I recommend the AMSOIL engine flush you'll see that under cleaners and protectance and also the PI performance improver gasoline additive.
If you ever have any questions Michael you can always call me anytime.
This is my personal link and that would give me the credit I would be your Amsoil dealer and I would always be able to answer all your questions on the products in the future.

Have you ever tried Amsoil
Awesome Travis You have been randomly selected for the end of month giveaway please text me your full name so I can see you in my phone 702-472-3614
Just picked up a 2014 4runner with 180k miles on it would you recommend doing a drain & fill on the transmission with amsoil or would it mess it up ?
I highly recommend switching over the ATF fluid to Amsoil it will make a huge difference in the way of shifts smoother also you'll notice less vibration and you'll also see a bump and fuel mileage you are transmission will last longer and run stronger.
This is a good video that will be very similar to your vehicle

Of course will definitely get the Valvoline Thank you Tom
awesome, try a redline versus amsoil test, the only two top true boutique oils readily available.
We have some great videos of red line and Amsoil just type in Redline versus Amsoil cold flow test it'll come right up and I was curious have you ever tried Amsoil before?
Happy new year amsoil guy🎉🎉

Let the COLD Flow!
Is it possible to see the molecule formation of synthetic and mineral oils via a microscope?
Of course I'm sure it is.
I haven't had the chance to get to a laboratory but that would definitely be cool to show thank you 😉💯🎬
Wow they both seem like great products for extreme cold weather but I would still go with the film strength of100% synthetic 💪🏼 unfortunately Amsoil doesn’t recommend their severe gear for my AWD 2016 Honda CR-V which takes the Dual Pump II fluid- is there a severe gear that is compatible with my rear diff?
Have you ever tried the amsoil?
@@BC08from the Schaeffer's technical data sheet: Supreme Gear Lube SAE 75W-90 contains an extremely shear stable, polymer type, viscosity index improver
which provides the Supreme Gear Lube SAE 75W-90 with a high viscosity index. These polymers expand as
temperature rises and contract as the temperature is lowered allowing the Supreme Gear Lube SAE 75W-90
to exhibit low temperature properties that allow the gears and bearings to be safely started at low ambient
temperatures and to have the proper viscosity needed at operating temperature and high ambient
temperatures in order to minimize wear. This temperature selectiveness also enhances the Supreme Gear
Lube SAE 75W-90’s high temperature oxidation stability.

If we start up the freezer again will definitely do the Hot Shots thank you Jeremy for the suggestion👍😃

@@Syntheticoilprotection yes sir I have I absolutely love it 💯
I'm a huge Amsoil fan!!
@@linuxlinux9914 For Liqui Moly it's their Molygen oil which is all I run in my Titan.

did i miss the hotrod oil shootout?
Not really a couple of videos back we did do a racing oil just to show the difference but we will be doing some classic car oil soon and also air cool motor oil soon 😉🎬😃
I’d like to see it go against royal purple gear oil!
Oh yeah we'll definitely do that 💯😃
Not bad for the Green Goblin
💯😃👍
Yes it would be interesting to see how it holds up over the course of a fluid change interval and how it thickens.
This is the Mercedes ATF fluid which had a very similar look to it

@@Syntheticoilprotection Interesting.. is there any relation between Schaeffer and Mercedes
Not that I'm aware of.
