Wow, I remember the release of the A129 Pro (October 2019) like it was yesterday. That’s around when I started following RetroCarGuy530. His A129 Pro review was March 2020. 1:08 Viofo has come a long way in 5 years with image quality. Thinkware & BlackVue still stuck in 2019. lol
Its amazing how far they have come. Being that I am new to the brand and when I saw the A129 Pro and plus units. Frankly I was not impressed. I gave them a chance with the A229 Duo, and then a mere 3 months later the A139 Pro was released and it was a game changer in my opinion. Being only 2 years young with the VIOFO brand. It still has its challenges but it has been growing and improving.
What is the chipset inside the A329? Looks like the chipset does all the heavy lifting on A329(HDR/cooling/efficiency). Pretty sure Parking mode is also more efficient compared with all previous Viofo dashcams. Waiting for the Pro version
Powered by Quad Core ARM Cortex A53 chipset and Sony STARVlS 2 technology, A329 records in true 4K and 2K resolution, capturing license plates and every detail with exceptional clarity day and night.
thanks for the vieo! I have the 139 currently. is the 329 better? and if so can I just remove one camera and plug and play the other? Mine is hardwired.
all cables are different, power cable, and front and rear cables are different. I would not recommend upgrading from A139 pro. But if you have normal A139 (Non Pro) it would be an upgrade.
@@SafeDriveSolutions Thanks and I do have the pro version. I'll just keep what I have for now but when I need to buy something the next time I will consult you if you don't mind. This is why I follow your chanel!! thank you very much for the response!!
Thanks for doing this video! After seeing this I definitely ordered the A329.
