- Ever since I got into American Girl, I would always have a wishlist of dolls I hoped to add to my collection. Many dolls have been removed over the years since I purchased them, but some other dolls got removed for various reasons, which I'll be talking about in this video!

I used to want a Truly Me doll that looked just like me, because I got mine in 2007 when the selection was really limited (especially for dolls without bangs) so I got one that looked just like me in the hair color/style and face mould/skin tone, but had the wrong eye color and had freckles although I did not have freckles. Eventually, I decided that getting a doll that looked just like the one I already had but had 2 minor features' difference wouldn't be worth it. I'm happy to see that there's a lot more selection for these types of dolls these days! I'm a big AG fan who kind of fell off for the past 10 years and has recently come back into the fandom, so much has changed and it's so interesting!
I agree with McKenna!!!!! I loved McKenna sooo much but she is super close looking to Elizabeth and Elizabeth is a historical so she wins LOL.
I don’t know what one I prefer! Elizabeth has this mature motherly look to her that I like, but McKenna has a cooler wig

I used to want Samantha 😆 but I don’t really want her anymore. I am more interested in Nellie’s collection, and a lot of the best friend dolls.

I hope they bring back #4 she was the first Asian girl i saw when i was a kid since i got into AG in 2008. And im part Japanese but don't look it so i really want a 4 to honor my grandma and my Japanese side.

I would get Isabelle if I had room in my budget. She might be a little basic , but in my opinion she is the prettiest blonde doll AG has ever made. I normally don't lean towards blonde dolls. Also, I'm currently a Dance Moms fan so my Isabelle would be renamed Chloe.I used to want a black create your own Jess mold with hetero eyes. But since I've just bought my custom Heterochromia Nanea, she dropped off of my wishlist.

McKenna was also on my wishlist because she got me back into American girl but she has aswell fallen off my list.
we literally have the exact same dolls that have dropped off our wish lists- apart from that i never wanted a 24 and that i would still be willing to get a 47! but i feel very similarly to you about the majority of these dolls ☺️

Saige. I have Mia, but I've always wanted a doll with the darker red hair and Saige has freckles (which I LOVE), but she is a classic mold and I already have Mia and #24, so I really don't need another Classic mold.
One doll that fell of my wishlist is 58. I really wanted her but after getting 2 with flaws I went with 85 instead. Also 22 because after I started accumulating more dolls I had to make some cuts… and when I was little 56 was my DREAM doll but now she’s not even a contender.

Yes! I saw a few years ago, I saw Ag4liife have Saige and I wanted to get her. But now I'm not as much of a big fan of saige. This was a really unique video idea!
Dolls that aren't on my list anymore:
1. McKenna (I have Elizabeth now)
2. Grace? (I'm not collecting Gotys at the moment)
3. Rebecca (I have Nellie and Samantha and I normally lump eras together and three dolls from the edwardian era is a lot)
4.Kaya (I really didn't like her stories even though a Indigenous character is so cool!!!!)
5. Kira. (I fell for the Goty hype too!!!)

I always thought 24 look like tenney but tenney looks cheaper to me and I hate that everyone didn’t get Gabriela because they just recycled a doll but they would get Z and Tenney even though they are also recycle. Also I have Rebecca u will not regret getting her
I used to really like and want #55, Saige, and Grace but they slowly went away from my wishlist 😅 However I did get Grace this year since one of my friends was selling her for very cheap so I couldn’t pass the opportunity! Great Video!

i know this is an old video, but i just got back into american girl stuff and i think it is so funny, all four of the dolls i have are on this list: saige, isabelle, 24, and 55!
For a while I wanted Rebecca because she was the doll that was closest to how I look, hazel eyes and curly brown hair. They still haven’t made a doll that looks like me though because I have bangs that are curly too lol. I ended up getting her for Christmas when I was 13, my friend got Caroline and I wanted her too, kind of still do.
I got 24 when I took a trip to the AG store years ago and to this day, she still does not have a name because nothing about her speaks to me. I have a fairly small collection compared to intense AG collectors out there, so she's not similar to any of my other dolls, but I mostly keep her in an old box because I feel she's not really a part of my collection :(
I get that! If you don’t connect with her you can always sell her, but I know I’m way too emotionally connected to my dolls to sell them
Just sell her and get a dool you like better…

great video! yeah my Saige doll I bought on eBay a few years ago… her hair isn’t in the best shape. omg McKenna used to be on my wishlist too! it was only because my best friend had her.

A lot of the people that got Saige we're pretty young so most Saiges sold used have really damaged hair. Saige was my first doll and by the time I got older and started collecting and really taking care of my dolls her hair was so dry and frizzy. I ended up making her a custom and got her a new wig. Don't regret it at all :) I ended up liking her a lot more with a darker wig.
Saige is gorgeous. I got mine in excellent condition for $30 with a bunch of clothes… she’s one of my favorite dolls and her eyes are so unique
I just realized we have been collecting for the same amount of time, I have no idea why but it’s so awesome and crazy to me

Saige, Kira, Marie-Grace, Kaya, Josefina and Rebecca have moved on and off my wish list several times. I'll probably get Saige if I can find a nice one for a good price. I had 60 on my wl, but since I got 49, I've taken her off. Others that are no longer on my wl: 33, 62, 64, 79, 82. I'm super close to running out of room for dolls so I have to be extra choosy.
I used to be obsessed with truly me 84 she is still cute but I am kinda interested in other dolls at the moment.
I kind of want Melody. And maybe Samantha.

I have a ton of dolls so everyone who’s left is kinda on my wishlist, but I guess one that I used to really want was #3, but I passed her up just because I had recently bought 51, who is super similar. One doll who will never be on my wishlist though is truly me 87 because her hair is wayyyy too bright for my liking

Jly4 I think she’s cute but I don’t really want her… but if I ever got this doll I would probably resell her because I don’t really want her like or want her that bad. I feel like if I got her and resold her I could get money then someone who truly wants her can have her

I have a lot of dolls on my wish list. But, I only have so much room. I love my Kira doll. But, her wig is a little thin. I wanted Julie. But, now that I have Kira, I don’t want her so much. Kira is pretty. I hope that bring back #4. I only collect dolls I like. I don’t need to have every hair color or face molds. I want to see the new dolls before I buy another one. Also, I want to see their collection.
Elizabeth has fallen off my list. I do have one but she is used and I wanted a new like one but they are difficult to find for a good price. Should an amazing deal come along I would jump on it 😂
Just send your Elizabeth in for a new head, and then she'll be new!

Probably… but in general she doesn’t feel as unique of a doll as she did when she came out. I don’t get excited about her anymore
