I used to want a Truly Me doll that looked just like me, because I got mine in 2007 when the selection was really limited (especially for dolls without bangs) so I got one that looked just like me in the hair color/style and face mould/skin tone, but had the wrong eye color and had freckles although I did not have freckles. Eventually, I decided that getting a doll that looked just like the one I already had but had 2 minor features' difference wouldn't be worth it. I'm happy to see that there's a lot more selection for these types of dolls these days! I'm a big AG fan who kind of fell off for the past 10 years and has recently come back into the fandom, so much has changed and it's so interesting!
I hope they bring back #4 she was the first Asian girl i saw when i was a kid since i got into AG in 2008. And im part Japanese but don't look it so i really want a 4 to honor my grandma and my Japanese side.
we literally have the exact same dolls that have dropped off our wish lists- apart from that i never wanted a 24 and that i would still be willing to get a 47! but i feel very similarly to you about the majority of these dolls ☺️

For a while I wanted Rebecca because she was the doll that was closest to how I look, hazel eyes and curly brown hair. They still haven’t made a doll that looks like me though because I have bangs that are curly too lol. I ended up getting her for Christmas when I was 13, my friend got Caroline and I wanted her too, kind of still do.
Saige. I have Mia, but I've always wanted a doll with the darker red hair and Saige has freckles (which I LOVE), but she is a classic mold and I already have Mia and #24, so I really don't need another Classic mold.
One doll that fell of my wishlist is 58. I really wanted her but after getting 2 with flaws I went with 85 instead. Also 22 because after I started accumulating more dolls I had to make some cuts… and when I was little 56 was my DREAM doll but now she’s not even a contender.
I used to really like and want #55, Saige, and Grace but they slowly went away from my wishlist 😅 However I did get Grace this year since one of my friends was selling her for very cheap so I couldn’t pass the opportunity! Great Video! - AGWorld Sprinkles 💕

I got 24 when I took a trip to the AG store years ago and to this day, she still does not have a name because nothing about her speaks to me. I have a fairly small collection compared to intense AG collectors out there, so she's not similar to any of my other dolls, but I mostly keep her in an old box because I feel she's not really a part of my collection :(
A lot of the people that got Saige we're pretty young so most Saiges sold used have really damaged hair. Saige was my first doll and by the time I got older and started collecting and really taking care of my dolls her hair was so dry and frizzy. I ended up making her a custom and got her a new wig. Don't regret it at all :) I ended up liking her a lot more with a darker wig.

But since I've just bought my custom Heterochromia Nanea, she dropped off of my wishlist.

I agree with McKenna!!!!! I loved McKenna sooo much but she is super close looking to Elizabeth and Elizabeth is a historical so she wins LOL.
I don’t know what one I prefer! Elizabeth has this mature motherly look to her that I like, but McKenna has a cooler wig

I get that! If you don’t connect with her you can always sell her, but I know I’m way too emotionally connected to my dolls to sell them

Saige is gorgeous. I got mine in excellent condition for $30 with a bunch of clothes… she’s one of my favorite dolls and her eyes are so unique
