Great video Joe. Love the in depth breakdown of the rig, and interesting how you have addressed a lot of the mechanics. Looks like it would be very effective.
@danford9646 glad you enjoyed it 😁 I think it's good to understand why we do things rig wise rather than just copying and not understanding how it works
Maddox invented the hair rig around 76 and kept it quiet for a few years… rod hutchinson used the shot in the 80’s pretty sure. I have a rig that pisses on the shot.
Cool channel you adapted the korda shot on the hook similar to a adaptation i did after watching the last underwater. Really cool rig will give it a go at the water soon
im over here in the states using method feeders, hair rigs, oatmeal & creamcorn with pineapple jello, pineapple maize for the hair with korda pop up corn yellow. slaying them. never have i once caught a carp on any of the fancy rigs or even a boilie. idk if american carp are different but they seem to hate boilies and ive tried lots of mainline baits lol

Good video Joe thought the situation out and modified your approach 👍🏻 I found the shot on the hook rig and barbless at range often meant losing the shot 🤔
Great video and the way of tying the D section is a great idea. Better I think than the D-rig kickers. Do you always use bright toppers? I always think I should use a straight bottom bait only if I'm not getting bites. It could be a really interesting video to fish one bright topper and one bottom bait side by side?
Congrats curly, more of these pls mate, although I appreciate it's difficult with a family, but good on ye mate👌👍.....oh what reels are you using on those rods pal?👍
Great vid again , I see you have the avid exo+ bivvy, I was thinking of getting one myself, not sure whether to wait for the 2 man, what do you think curly , hope the family are good 👍
Stopped using Ronnies because the few I caught on them had terrible mouth damage. This was fished in open water or margins not in the snaggs. I was using barbless hook if that makes a difference. Anybody else haveing any problems or is it just me.
@skyliner6785 have you given it a try yourself or just not a fan for the sake of not being a fan? Not a dig, just curious is all as I have found it to be effective and the underwater gives some pretty impressive evidence
