    ----------------------------------
    This video is a step by step assembly of the IKEA tuffing bunk bed. I purchase this bunk bed from Craigslist. Unfortunately, the owner does not have the instruction manual anymore and the IKEA website does not have one available for download either. So, I watched a couple of youtube videos to help me figure out where the parts go.
    For this unit that I purchased, 2 of the poles were incorrectly tagged and I could not move on to the next step so I have to disassemble it and decided to create another video in case someone encountered the same issue.

    I meant to send this a few days ago- you REALLY helped with this video. The instructions from ikea were so unclear, my wife found this video. We followed every step, organized things just like you did and you made it so much easier. Thank you thank you thank you! I owe you a beer!

    Thank you very much - so helpful. This setup felt like a blend of setting up our camping tent and our winter tempo!!! Lots of clanging of poles and lots of screws to somehow fit into the appropriate holes!!

    If I am 185 cm tall, will it be easy for me on the lower bed? can I sit normally?

    • @diymanual
      @diymanual  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@proxx9531 This is designed as kids bed. If you can sit on the first step of a stair and stand up with no problem then you should be fine. But you might bump your head on the top bed frame. I'm 5' 5" and I can go in without any issue.

    Thank you

      I believe you can, you just need to find a way to make it sturdy. Maybe place a board on top of the supports.

    Just wondering how many inches the top bunk is.
    If i buy a 6 inch mattress, is that as tall as the side rail?
    Will my kid be able to roll off the top?

    • @diymanual
      @diymanual  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We have a 6 inch mattress from Ikea and it is a little lower than the rail. If your kid just roll they won't roll off as the rail will stop them but they can easily climb off the rail if they move a lot. I would say kids under 4 will have a tendency to climb up while sleeping but if you have 5 and older they should be fine. If you are concern about it you can get a 4 inch mattress.

    How many time to built this bed???

    • @diymanual
      @diymanual  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It took me about 2 hours recording and figuring out where the parts go. If you just focus on building you should be able to build this within 1 hour. It is pretty simple to build. If you don't have a power screw driver then you may need more time because there are a lot of screws in this unit.

    does it hold adults as well?

    • @diymanual
      @diymanual  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That will depend on the adult. I tried both the top and bottom and it's able to hold me fine. But this bed is designed for smaller kids as the height of the lower mattress is lower than a regular bed and the top bunk height is lower as well so a tall adult will not be comfortable seating on the bottom bed.
