talking o line coach and no Bill.
you did not understand the assignment
Brian Hartline OC
Continuity the key 🔑
🏆Champs ♨️
Never heard of Jim Knowles until they hired him earlier. Day picked him for a reason.
Big difference. That year Knowles defense at the other OSU was one of the best in the league
I keep forgetting everybody knows more than Ohio State and Ryan Day when it comes to hiring coaches or anything about football.
Youngstown UrsuLINE 😂😭😂😭 it’s pronounced ursu-lin that’s my rival school so good job Birm
Who knew Justin Frye before he came. No one.
Go BUCKS! 🅾🌰🏈➡2024➡🏆💍
with Bowen being brought in and we've heard Joe Cullen's name for the D..seems Urban has a link here as both were with Urban and Jacksonville(I believe). Daniels is still pretty young and I could see Moore winning that battle. I agree the Rice tackle probably has a starting spot.
Virginia tech averaged 180 yards last year rushing mix that with Brian hartline passing attack
Both Birm n Austin are NOT smiling.. didn’t the Buckeyes just win a Natty? Common give this guy a chance… gees
Why do you care whether or not grown men are smiling?
Birm always looks like that lol. If I didn't know better I would think we just had a losing season
Business never stops 🤷♂️
I think why he's not smiling is he just found out Ryan Day signed an extension
SMILE BIRM
K. Wilson certainly would be a perfect fit as an Offensive Analyst to help Hartline as newbie OC mainly - help OL and TE a bit - BUT - STILL NEED A FEW LEGIT OL ASST. COACH‼️I think it’s clear Bowen is being brought in to be dynamic Recruiter and a ‘safety net’ if Hartline scuffles a bit as first time OC …
It's A great hire VT avg more than 180 ypg rushing. He knows how to do it and that's exactly what we need to offset Brian Hartline
Ryan Day talked to Urban. The reason for the hire
Bowen doesnt have a track record of successful O line coaching. That is my biggest concern.
Maybe the big names for offensive line coaches did say “no”, Austin. You will never know who turned the job down.
Nick Saban has said many times that he would
Never hire a OC who has never called
Plays
Well Nick Saban literally had coaches lining up to learn and coach under him THERES A BIG DIFFERENCE NOW🤡
Assuming Bowen is the hire, does Bowen have the opportunity to visit the 2026 Ohio OL face to face to accelerate relationships being built?
Not until March 2 when the dead period ends.
@@ThePodcast_OhioStatethat's not A good sign A long ways too wait right?
He can make calls and talk to them, just can't see them in person.
@@ThePodcast_OhioState gotcha thanks 👍🏼
Great hire OC but still should have hired Bentley OL. Day needs to announce Co DCs Walton/Guererri and let's get to reloading and repeating. O-H
We don’t even know Bentley wanted to be the OL coach, being a college coach is not everyone’s goals. His training business is doing seemingly well and might not want to deal with NIL and recruiting side.
@@Cfej12
he stated in interview he wanted the job. He also spent the playoff run with the team and moved back to Ohio. We'll see. He'd be a beast at recruiting 5 * OL.
@@buckeye4ever419he has no coaching experience period still not ready
lot of overlap coaching TE and OL; similar resume to Sherrone Moore when TCUN brought him in for OL; likely had a hand in OL as OC and TE coach as well
All the stuff going on you are still putting out taped content...
Everybody is a great coach and recruiter until they leave for another program 2 years later. What else can someone say ? This or that coach is a terrible hire ? Coaches come and go and i expect the coaches hired today will move on sooner rather than later. Being optimistic is the right way to keep your job. How long it will last is anybody's guess.
RG Tegra Tshabola just hasn't been very good. If he doesn't get it after this offseason need to just play younger guys with higher upside
The cost of success
If you improve recruiting development may not be as important
Not when it comes to O line there are very few if any HS linemen who come in college ready
@ agreed but with better recruiting the time frame may be shorter or you may be able to pull some more from the south
😂😭😂😭😭😂😭😭😂 development is always important
@@timbateman6767doesn't matter nowadays that's what the portal is used for just like we did bringing in two tackles with expertise and already ready to go just need to go through offseason workout and team program and boom ready to go
This might be a risky move! N Day I trust
Why are you guys so far behind? All positions filled.
They don’t who day called or not. Please keep Kevin Wilson away. God please. Ole Kevin must be a mole for them.
Ohio State isn’t the school you get a chance at they should be hiring known commodities
You don’t need to hire known commodities with how staffs can be structured now.
Hartline is not a good choice no matter how log he has been at OSU. It doesn'y mean he is a good choice. OSU season is down the tubes with Hartline being the OC.
Your A damn fool he has 9 yrs under his belt with Ryan Day and knows his offensive system better than any coach on the team you clown 🤡. Plus he worked all last season with CHIP KELLY 🙄🥱🥴 go back to sleep
The fact they didn't at least interview and make other playoff contenders spend more on coaches is a failure in strategy.
How do you know that they didn’t? Every coach has agents that field calls for them and relay information back and forth.
@@DougSheppardSr That's not how you get them to spend big, you have them come for an interview which didn't happen. These interviews would have been leaked by said agents to get the money. Please don't ask such stupid questions in the future.
@ and you know they didn’t , how from a TH-cam podcaster?
Throw Bill Kurelic, Bill Landis and Ari Wassermanschultz on a new pod together called the "OSU Unwatchables". Maybe get marble mouf Mic to translate it afterwards
I cant stand Ari. He's the worst.
