Scrite formatting is a little different than your traditional screenwriting program because it is focused on scenes and not lines. To create Fade In. Under your first scene block. Click on the area that says Click here to type your scene content. Right click it should come up with a menu. Click on Format. If all the options are grayed out. Left click back on this section and type anything. Delete it and then you should be able to Click back on Format and select transition. Then you will be able to select Fade in. Go back to the top of the scene box which probably says Ext - somewhere Day. Simply delete it. Now you have Fade In. Select a new scene box and start with your first scene. Let me know how that works. If anything I will try to make a little video about it.

@@ScreenwritingScribe - Your video is informative -Great- Many Thanks. The FADE IN should be obsolete nowadays but the industry does not run with my mind. M/S Scrite might be thinking this is not required but I find in the CHARACTERS popup this FADE IN is coming out. Your above guidance in writing one-word FADE IN is like showing the way from Delhi to London via Honu Lulu. Thanks again
