Myths About Hospice and Palliative Care - Part 1: Looking Through the Eyes of a Son and Father

How do you show your love to someone or how can you tell if someone loves you? Is it through hugs and kisses, spending time together, offering words of encouragement, or giving gifts? And if you had to choose, would you be willing to die or live for someone you love?
Expressing your love to your loved ones can be done by removing some of the uncertainty and guesswork around what you want in case of your death. In this regard, our Angel 2nd Class Guest, Kevin Turner, will be sharing his experience with his father's decision to elect hospice and palliative care. He will also dispel some of the common misconceptions about hospice, including how his father left or “graduated” from hospice because he had shown signs of improvement.
