    The footage of the mosh pit actually was from their song Madness lmao

      @nerea4327 2 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Yeah, it's been an inner joke between the band and the crowd to ironically mosh pit during Madness these festivals. Matt even added guturals once: th-cam.com/video/n_vxKUKtqTI/w-d-xo.html

    I say this completely unironically, but Muse is capable of playing any genre they want. The catch is that they have preferred to stick to a couple of specific genres and don't stray too far outside of them. Great examples of their genre hopping are "Panic Station," "Unsustainable," "Madness," "Exogenesis 1, 2, & 3." All completely different sounds.

    I love this song but I wholeheartedly agree that it kicks itself up a notch about halfway through. If you like their heavier style I recommend The Handler. It’s a little older (I think from 2015), but it is definitely one of their heavier songs in my opinion, and an absolute banger.
    Edit: Also Supremacy is pretty heavy

    • @Musabre
      @Musabre 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Second The Handler! It's sinister and heavy, and that pained finale just after the guitar-solo is beautiful. One of the best runs in any Muse song imo.

    The energy from a music video compared to them playing live is quite different ... so the fire and the pits are definitely a product of the energy of their live performances. Check out a few of their live ones, Stockholm Syndrome, New Born and Butterflies and Hurricanes eg and you might feel some of that ... totally entitled to your opinion, that's why I'm here, it's good to look from outside the Muse box now and again :)

    'I didnt know it was in his bag' - It is now. Matt will practice the same thing 10,000 times to perfect a single technique for a single song. He is a VERY dedicated musician. He did the same with whistling in one song, he comes out and does the most pitch perfect smooth professional whistling part out of no where. These guys, love or hate their music, are all incredibly talented and absolutely 110% dedicated to their art and their sound. The drummer had never used a double kick in their songs, but the second it was actually needed it gets added. They don't write songs to match their skills, they write songs and THEN match their skills to what is needed of them.
    The heavier songs are likely down to the fact that Matts son Bing is a huge Slipknot fan and I think has pushed Matt into going darker/heavier than normal. So I think we all owe the kid a beer on his 18th!

    • @Raresnce
      @Raresnce ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry love. Bing had nothing to do with their heavier sound this album. You can give us, those who fought for many years and attended ALL shows on their tours, credit. You have fans who have been to 200+ shows and around that mark pushing for this.

    • @MatPandaZ
      @MatPandaZ ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Raresnce Yeah nah, he has literally said that Bings love of slipknot made him want to do some heavier stuff this time. Matt didn't count the amount of tickets you have bought. How have you been pushing for it? on forums he doesn't read? You live in a fantasy world. There hasn't been a massive push for Muse to do breakdowns. His kid loves a type of music and he did something for him, just as he has done before with things like Follow Me. Sorry love.

    I saw them in show two weeks ago and yes he did it, he do the guttural scream and this song live is heavier and with the drum that smash in my chest, the heat of the flame and the background (not the same as the video ) it was insane

    Amazing reaction my friend!!...In 2017, the music world was shocked by the bursting onto the scene of a 22-year-old singer named Dimash Kudaibergen, who performed on the famous Chinese competition show for professional singers called “The Singer”... It was just It was necessary for this young man to make his first appearance, making a cover of one of the most difficult songs in the world, a famous French composition called "S.O.S. D'un Terrien En Détresse", to be considered from that moment on as the best singer in the entire planet....No one in the musical field had ever seen a human being, being able to reach vocal ranges above 7 octaves and several semitones, that is, all 88 keys of a digital piano, which reaches a little more than 7 octaves and as if that weren't enough, sing the more than 12 languages...Since then all kinds of experts (Vocal coach, analysts, singing teachers, youtubers, reactors, etc.) have dedicated themselves to reviewing their presentations to try to understand how someone can sing this way...The incredible thing is that that presentation in China was in 2017 and 5 years have passed since then, but what Dimash has done in these 5 years is to further improve his wide vocal range, which is currently practically above of the 8 octaves... The Covid pandemic stopped his concerts worldwide, all with tickets sold in just seconds, via the internet, but at the same time it ended up catapulting him to the top of popularity worldwide...Anyway, since I think you are one of those reactors who have not yet met this impressive singer, here is the link of that presentation in China in 2017, with the song S.O.S. and I would like you to mention my name as the person who recommended him to you..It is a more recent video than the others, so it does not have the same number of views as the previous ones, which have millions of views, but it is a more complete video, with an intro, subtitles in several languages and with the improved quality of audio and sound....th-cam.com/video/bDX3FhmyNac/w-d-xo.html

    I've always been a casual fan of Muse too. They have a few really outstanding songs the rest doesn't really do anything for me. Incubus is another band like that for me. I did see them live (supporting System of a Down iirc) and they were very good. Respect for that.

    Huge thumbed up for your honesty on not liking Uprising. It's one of my fav muse piece though. It's your opinion and i appreciate it. However, i didn't feel this song is not up to mark. The vocals and musics didn't go along. But the energy Matt carries, is next level.
