One of the other mechanics at the hanger I work at has used his for years on aircraft. He loves it, high speed and just the right amount of torque for aircraft panel screws.
Stuff like this is perfect for panel screws. Hate when I see someone installing with a big ass impact. I know the next guy is gonna be screwed when removing them
This is my grail screwdriver. I first saw these at home depot back in 2007. I was working as a copy machine technician for Canon. I was looking for something I could carry in my service case. I really wanted the makita but it was way out of my price range. I quit seeing them in the stores. I assumed they quit making them. I'm glad to know they still make them. I still want one. I still can't afford one. I will one day!
I purchased one on close out from Fred Myer years ago. I have used and loved it for years! So very handy when dealing with multipule screws seems to not strip out screws. still have 2 batteries and makita bag.
I really thought this was super cool but man, i look at them on Amazon, 188 bucks for one and the other is 259. Crazy price, but still a cool tool. I'll be looking for a used one. Thanks for the video.
Hey man, this video caused me to buy the new TD022 pen impacts. Anyways, hands down my favorite tool that nobody knows about. I’m an electrician and use it for about 95 percent of my work. But TODAY I was scrolling eBay and saw that hitachi/hikoki/metabo hpt makes a 7.2v pen impact driver - with a TRIGGER - and it looks SHORTER and has the same torque ratings. I can’t find ANY information on them from people using them and they look more affordable. You know anything about these???
I have this machine bought more than 10 years on Amazon and today the 2 batteries are dead, they do not accept charge and I do not know the name of this socket, the new batteries are a fortune! I wanted to open it to change the batteries for new ones, but I don't find any video on how to open the battery compartment! Very difficult!

I know someone at our hanger as well who uses this same makita

Hello again Catus Maximus and Tiny
Thank you for another Great Video.
Been watching you use this driver. Glad to see your review here, Ty.
Got it for $30 at goodwill. I’m an assistant superintendent. This will be perfect for all the small stuff I do
The snap on 7.2v ct561qc impact is probably similar in size. I have the drill and it’s quite small and good for small spaces
Must add to my collection.

Got one and it’s lasted since the 90s. Really solid and only had to replace one battery! It’s superior
How does a simple cat know so much about the inner workings of these power tools?
