I love how TH-cam recommends your video after I purchase some flowers and I get all the 411 I need for the plant! Thanks!!! Mine wilted I think it was too cold
In my opinion they practically look after themselves i love them as they flower all year round. i have put loads in terrible areas and they have been on deaths door but i find they are very resilient and come back from the grips of death and i find better places for them. I pick them up when i find them very cheap. I let mother nature look after them i never use any products.
I just bought 2 in a 5" pots and noticed that the leaves droop only after skipping watering them one day. Is it possible cause they may be root bound, and need to be repotted?
I bought a bunch clearanced out for $7 today before watching this but I live on the Texas coast lmao I'll miss them in like 2 months when it's 100 degrees
Lol! Well that's how it usually goes here also. Last year I moved mine to very deep shade and then back into part sun when fall came around. Surprisingly enough they are still outside with green on them.
a pretty little flower, I use to have yellow and purple ones around the tree out front, every summer I would lose one or two so when we removed the tree they went too!
I have never had much luck getting them through the summers here, but maybe i will try again now that my trees are bigger and i have better auto watering set up... oh but the bunnies eat them almost instantly...thats why i stopped bothering with them outside. I had forgotted. I'm stil going to give it a go again!
I have seen them wild in the forest. They were amazing ,standing in the shade of trees with water running underneath them. This was high up on amountain I visited once in my country Greece. Now I have got 3 plants in flower which I transplanted from their tiny pots into slightly bigger ones but I learned over the years that their behaviour is not the same as the wild ones.
My mom saw these in the store once and thought they were african violets but I was like "nah, that's a primrose" lol. my neighbor keeps a bunch of these out in pots and the flower beds, all just the same pink variety though. at least I think they are the same variety, I've never exactly examined their primrose collection up close. They look nice though.
I think the fact that look kind of like african violets is what draws so many people to them! I can't grow them outside, the bunnies eat em up within days!
Hi, can you tell me where to remove the flowering spike, after the blooms have died. all the way at the bottom or just pluck off the dead flowers? Mine has another baby flower coming in the middle
Hi! Sorry for the delayed response! You can just pinch the the flower off from the top, or cut it from the growing axis. I usually just pinch off the spent flowers though, because it's hard to get in between those leaves with big hands and not break leaves or new buds. 😔
so should I put to mu primulas every day a bit of water or every second day? One of them got a bit brown color on the green leaf, when I bought them I didn't know that I should water them so frequently. And I have put them in a room where there is no heating.
I put mine in a small bucket that doesn't drain at all and i haven't touched it at all and it's doing amazing ... O.o did extra good after a deer ate it up hahahaha wierd
They are so beautiful! I love them. It seems the yellow grow much bigger and faster than the pink.
I am obsessed with your beautiful oasis..
Great video! These little beauties are needy but armed with your info makes them doable. Thanks!

I have just been gifted 5 primrose plants. A couple have some browning leaves. What is causing it. They are indoors.

How big can the plants get if planted outside?
Are primeros good for hanging baskets that grow large like what you see at stores
I use banana water and it loves it!
I dont know when to water it, im scared of it having too much water

How come no one shows a video on where to cut the dead flower head on primroses.
I had no idea what it was. I thought it was a really funky African violet or something :P Great video ♥
they are tricky little plants aren't they! They really do look like crazy african violets!

Good information, but I had to abandon the channel after a minute or two
because of the pounding drum in the background.
