Monika, my first job was at a Chinese restaurant when I was 15! I didn't understand the workers' dialect either, and I AM Chinese :). Completely relatable experience lol! I take a pocket spray with me everywhere I go these days. If someone compliments my perfume, I offer to spray on their wrist. This makes me incredibly happy to spread some scent joy. 😊
@@veronicaleon8075 😊There are so many wildly different dialects in the Chinese population. The dialect spoken in the London restaurant diaspora is most likely Cantonese. Blue collar/service industry immigrants typically speak little English, understandably. I'm glad Monika had such an interesting experience :).
I absolutely adore how you give us such beautiful visuals of the products. Thank you, thank you! I struggle with other reviewers talking about a perfume with incredible detail meanwhile I can’t understand a word they are saying and have no idea what the product is because if they do show it it’s done so quickly I can’t make out what it is and they only list in there references a discount link so I still don’t know what the product actually is. So thank you for the thoughtful effort you make for your audience!
My first job when i was 16 in nursing home (Belgrade) with old people. I remember one very old lady ( over 90).She was classy and elegant with parfumes colection and make up.. Every day she smelled nice ,she had a smile on her face and red lipstick on the lips. Now i am 57 and i remember that parfume. Knowing- Ester Lauder
I take my fragrance bottle with me when I go to the office & sniff the cap or spray through the day to lift my spirits when I feel stressed at work - I’ve been doing this for years. I’m literally the only one who wears perfume in my office.
I love this idea, but my problem is I always associate scents with memories. I don’t wanna ruin a good perfume with bad memories. Do u know what I mean?😢🩷
This is the honest truth I am sicker than a dog right now but I pulled myself out of the bed just to watch a video hoping you would be here and you were oh my gosh I laughed so hard about your statement about introverts I am such an introvert I force myself to be extrovert for so many years because of employment and now that I am retired I am a bit of a recluse making up for all those years I force myself to be something I wasn't! Your videos bring me joy!
MFK Amyris Pour Femme is one of my favorite perfumes! I have the EDP and Extrait version. I also enjoy Iris Poudre Frederic Malle. I try not to think about my first job - babysitting for an alcoholic. 'nough said.
Love that you mentioned Libre edt, it always lifts my mood, along with Penhaligon’s Luna and Chance eau fraîche. My first job was at a children’s toy store, it was a lot of fun (for the most part!)
I’m total introvert and I’ve been working as manager for 10 years. I used to put bold makeup, to spray 4-5 times of perfume (my favorites were Tom Ford Black Orchid, Carolina Herrera 212 VIP, Kenzo Flower by Kenzo, Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche) around me and it was my defense, my confidence from that stressful for me environment. Now I’m working at home, no makeup, just a little bit of clean perfume and I’m the happiest woman. 😊
My first job was an answering service company and two weeks later on a Sunday I walked in and told to stand by the wall and I did was I was told and everyone that came in joined me. Once we were all there they started handing out envelopes while the boss was announcing this office was closed and we were were being fired. As the last envelope was handed out they opened the door and asked us to exit the building. Lol. I was 19.
Hi Monica,I really understand ,I'm an introvert too,I absolutely hate talking on the phone when people call me or when someone comes into my house .people who don't understand will think I'm antisocial 🫠

what about video what fragrances to wear on the rainy day? :)
I love this video topic. I've been having a lot of stress at work, and this video is an uplifting refresher. :)
Even if I don't hate my job, it is that time of year that's gloomy and in need of more cheering up. So I like perfume videos that check that box.
I love my job because I work in the perfume industry! It is truly so precious and rare to love your job 💕
Omg where have you been all my life...I love your channel...my first job was at an ice cream parlor
Ah! I never hear anyone mention the Libre EDT! It's so lovely and is absolutely the most cheerful of the bunch.

The part about the phone-phobia... I totally feel that!!! Introvert issues. 🤭😅❤️
Yes! Paradoxe is the HAPPIEST scent!!! I super agree! I dont own it yet but iy really gives me HAPPY and JOYFUL vibes! My boyfriend loves it!

You make me laugh with the title of your video😉 have a good day!
