It's like grocery shopping 😄I had the same feeling these days when harvesting in my garden. I have so many cucumbers I could eat them every day. First time I got really successful aubergines, and a couple dozen of melons and several water melons growing. I don't know if it's the weather or some improvements I made, probably both. But this year is incredible.
To see the produce in your polycrub in such a short time is fantastic it seems like only a few weeks ago Josh was making the raised beds. Then the garden. If that doesn’t inspire other younger people with a garden to follow suit I’ll be surprised. Thanks Tanya for all you share
LOL, so true! I feel like she is showing off & competing with the camera to get Tanya's attention focused on her instead. She's hilarious, always doing something to get Tanya to fuss at her. Negative attention is better than no attention to a cat like Maggie. I look forward to seeing her in every video.
I was telling the Dutch gardening girl the other day, my ancestor’s sister Charlotte Stainer married Scottish horticulturist & sweet pea hybridist, Henry Eckford. They lived in Berkshire with their children when she died somewhere around 1870. He remarried (she was a lovely stepmother) and they moved to Wem in Shropshire where to this day there is an annual sweet pea festival in his honour. He and his second wife & some of his children are buried there ❤
Hi Tanya, I hope you are feeling better, and that your energy has returned. I am loving your new specs. Everything looks so lush and delicious! I'm struggling with my small veg patch this year because we've had prolonged intense heat and water restrictions here in Colorado. It's refreshing to see green abundance, and Maggie the pole cat doesn't hurt either. Thanks for the chuckle. 🐈⬛😻😁
What a wonderful harvest! And everything looks so fresh and healthy! Because we have a small garden we have a climbing zucchini and it is producing loads of fruit! Great video to watch!
Tanya you look absolutely adorable in your glasses! 🤓 I am jealous of your poly tunnel, so many of my squash and vining veggies get powdery mildew and other issues in the humid climate I live in, I am definitely a happier autumn and spring gardener! Hopefully one year I'll get a better handle of my hot summer crops ☺️ my question is, do you have to self-pollinate in the poly tunnel or do you leave the doors open to the pollinators? Or do you do both?
Hello what a beautiful growing space! I was wondering if pollinators are able to get within the shelter or if you end up manually pollinating everything? Or do you only sow self pollinating things? I have always wondered how it worked in green houses and the like. Thanks!
Love the harvest videos! Im growing (trying) lots of flowers this yr. However, Im always careful what flower I bring inside because of the 🐱 🐱… Im also careful with certain essential oils due to the cats. Thanks for the videos!
Tania what you need is some chickens to help you out with all that leftover leaves from cabbage leaves and so on , I have six in my allotment and they love any treats and give me lots of tasty eggs, love the videos 😊
The kohlrabi leaves are going into the compost. What?! That’s the best part! I put them in my smoothies (with the leaf stems), and freeze them for future smoothies. I peel the big, woody kohlrabies and slice the insides for salads.
Love your polycrub - such voluptuous growth! Your outdoor crops are amazing, too. Have you had plenty of rain on the island this summer? I'm in the east of Scotland and it's hard going in the drought conditions we've had this year.
Hi Tanya. I love watching your summer harvest, which is particularly fun for me in wintery NZ. Something I'm loving right now are our Bread and Butter Pickles. A sweet crunchy pickle that tastes amazing with sharp cheese. Have you tried making them? Thanks so much for your You Tubes.
Hello, I watch your videos from where Iive, the northwest of Spain. I wanted to comment about the Padrón peppers, very common here in Galicia. The first one you show (min.5:43) has the right size to harvest. We don't let them grow more. I am curious, though, about what happens when they grow, larger. Are they hotter, maybe? I enjoy watching your TH-cam very much.
Dear lord, they get hotter as they get larger 😂 I also learned today that chilies get spicier if they're stressed...lack of water, hot temperatures, and other factors. So with our recent heatwave they must have gotten even hotter!
As always :) haha! Mainly we use the grated and frozen courgettes/zucchini in burgers! Turkey mince, leek, grated courgettes, chili powder, and a few other spices. Delish 👌
I recently had homemade zucchini soup! It was delicious. Your hard work has been rewarded! At the 13.34 timestamp of your video you have beautiful pink flowers. What is the name of them?🐝🍆🥒🌶🫑
Abundance! Veggies are as beautiful as flowers.
Belle vidéo bravo 😉
Magnifique le potager 👍
A bientôt 😉
So many wonderful things in your personal store! It's so fun to go out and find surprises :)
Great to see how far you've both come in such a short time , it's times like this when the hard work really does start to pay off
Congratulations.
Having the Polycrub and the no-dig beds in production feels like such an accomplishment! Now to move on to developing the rest of the garden :)
Wow this is very beautiful and inspiring thanks for sharing my friend loved it 🥰🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
Fresh food & fresh flowers
Beautiful!
Hello Tanya Lovely Greens. Congratulations on a fine harvest of various veggies .A lovely jar or two of mixed pickles comes to my mind ummmn.
How awesome that the polycrub is widening your possible harvests so much! thanks for showing us your garden.
Beautiful tour, amazing harvest, TFS

Every year brings successes and challenges...it's all part of the fun :)

Hard to believe all of this, garden and polychrub are just from this spring. Such an inspiration. Wish I could grow cat food.

Maggie: the best problem child!

Hahaha 😂
I enjoyed the garden walk.

That is an amazing harvest, be careful with that larger padrons, hot but nice, my second year growing them, loving your polycrub 👍🥒🥬🍅
Yep...spicy 😂

Love your videos! You can also grow parsnip, black radish and horseradish 😍
I would love to see how you preserve egg plant.
Great job! Blessings, TeresaSue

I used to have chickens many years ago. I don't eat eggs, though, so it doesn't make much sense :) Otherwise, yes, I'd definitely get them again!
Very inspiring
I have a friend who also call them them like that she has her farm notingham.

That's probably the only way that they're palatable 😂
great idea 2grate & freeze zuchinnis

the reason beetroot greens taste like chard is that they are the same plant. Chard was cultivated for big greens, beetroot for big bulbs

It's on my list of to-makes this week :)
Such a great harvest and the garden is look so lushious.
How did you get such lush green growth and abundant fruit in your poly tunnel??
You'll need to watch the video where we build and fill the raised beds inside the Polycrub
💚💚💚💚 how do you fertilize them?

You're very welcome :)
Fantastic veg! Where did you get those baskets?
The trugs are from English craftsmen in Suffolk
Awesome video like 😊👍🛎😘💖👋
Can you use the kohlrabi leaves??
They're usually pretty tough and leathery but if there was nothing else to eat I'd consider it.
Hope Maggie joins us today 😍😍😍😍😍😍😋
Beautiful harvests, but once again, Maggie stole the show. Do you make zucchini bread with your frozen pucks?
As always :) haha! Mainly we use the grated and frozen courgettes/zucchini in burgers! Turkey mince, leek, grated courgettes, chili powder, and a few other spices. Delish 👌
