In Morocco there is a strong identity/culture which can be overwhelming for some tourists, but Moroccans do not try to be something or someone they are not, they are proud of their identity and they willingly share it. Morocco is a precious gem in our increasingly uniform world.
Moroccans are sweet to children. How wonderful that such a little traveler experienced this magical land. Think of the enduring memories for her! Also, as a father and grandfather, I'm impressed with what a great trouper she is.
I am very happy that Romy visited Marrakech for the first time and the esteemed Andrea family in this beautiful ancient city that is loved in the world. It is unfortunate that the majority of its residents did not speak English. Thank you Kevin, we enjoyed your tour of Marrakesh with you from afar.
Thank you for this beautiful video ! Despite everything is a magical city a no surprise people from all over the World come to visit it ! It s a kind of trip to the depth of Moroccan history and culture ! A real Break from modern life in Europe or America ! Enjoy it while you re there !
The architecture inside the coffee place is something to be amazed at. $5 bucks for coffee and croissant is okay in the US but you paid for the experience. I don't know how you guys did all that walking without being tired.
Oh there's a Bob Music in Marrakech too? There's one in Essaouira which I always go and visit as I've become friendly with the guy who owns it. I surprised him with a visit in October and was greeted with a warm hug when he recognised me, like a long lost friend! I hadn't been since before the pandemic, so wasn't sure if he'd remember me at first. Moroccan friendliness is second to none. 😊
I have been visiting Morocco since 2014. I go there at least once a year when flights from the DC area gets competitive & cheap. When you visit Morocco; first, you have to forget about where are you from and how you live there and try to integrate with the people of the city. First and foremost, try to respect their customs and traditions and avoid harsh criticism. Moroccans are very proud of their societies and their customs. Avoid criticizing Islam because you are in a 100% Muslim country, and you will notice that Moroccans are very respectful of other religions. In big cities, there is a suffocating traffic jam from time to time, but I advise you not to let this crowd spoil your mood and your vacation... Enjoy what surrounds you while you fight the traffic. Moroccans are very warm and hospitable people and they welcome everyone in their country. There is a lot of popular food found in their streets and neighborhoods, and if you see someone selling food and not applying the principles of hygiene, I advise you not to criticize them, and if you do not like the way they prepare food in the street, then do not eat and walk by and do not criticize them … You can enjoy Morocco if you visit any city, Most of the tourists visit the Moroccan coastal regions and do not visit the picturesque interior regions... There is the city of Fez, Meknes, Ifrane, the Atlas Mountains, etc., etc., etc. I advise everyone to visit several interior regions! Enjoy your time in Morocco...!!!👍❤️😍🥰🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦
Thank you for the places you took us to, they all brought back wonderful memories, but the last one made me cry as I stood in the same place as you in front of the katoubia having a photo taken with my wonderful ex boyfriends arm round me.
😃Zeytoun Cafe...thanks so much Kevin! American viewer from California...but WOW...Morocco generally and the Place Jemaa el Fna specifically brings back so many great memories. The walk down Rue Kenneria Derb Debbachi (stayed at Hotel Amira et Vacancies and Riad Celia)...I really appreciate you taking us along your journeys. Maybe drop another video from Jardin Moulay el Hassan next to Menara Mall? (hint...hint) Ha! And...you've gotta do another Marrakech World Cup video (hopefully celebratory!) 😎 on Wednesday. Wishing you, Andrea, and Rumi the best. 💖💖💖
