you are amazing man its 2021 and its still workinggggg just a little update after you do all the steps go ahead to settings apps and then go to disabled and re enable all disabled apps then login to you gmail account or play store and its going to work smoothly.. Good luck all !
Dude you really need to speak up and stop mumbling Other than that this video was the best I've seen, and it actually worked. Though an easier method to get to google app is to just type "google app" into the google search bar rather than going through google maps.
WHEN I GO TO MAPS AND CLICK "START DRIVING" I TAP ON THE MIC AND IT PROMPTS ME TO SAY "CALL" THEN A NUMBER TO DIAL - I CANNOT SAY "OPEN GOOGLE" & THEREFORE I CANNOT GET TO SETTINGS. THIS DID NOT WORK FOR ME!
