Great video and thanks for the tips! River fishing can be an art and I need all the help I can get! I'm a 3 way man but have never tried the floater on one. I cant wait to try it out!
Verycool thanks for sharing your adventures was wondering which boatlaunch yu were at my wife and I have plans to get into that area during the spring. We fished in pool 7 and got some fish too.
Launched at Clinton St. next to the Hardee’s and ran the boat down and around to the dam. I’m sure most of the area launches will be open after this next warm snap.
@@bluegills I see what you’re saying now…lock and dam 8 is at the top end of pool 9, so we’re both right! I was fishing on pool 8 just below lock and dam 7.

Definitely try it! I think the floater helps keep the bait up off the bottom even when there's not a lot of current.

Well done man! Was that Clements fishing barge inside your green circle?
That's the Best Dam Fishing Float. Clements is on Pool 9. . . Also a great place to fish for anyone who doesn't have a boat!
@@huntfishcamp Clements is located just below Lock and Dam #8

If weather isn’t good for ice, at least it’s good enough for the boat and not somewhere In between.
You’ve got that right!!!
