As someone whose been reading the Psalms lately, I'm really starting to love this song. It's actually a legit prayer. After hearing it for the first time in years, it sounded just like a Psalm of David. So cool. God loves it when we unload everything on to Him good AND bad.
While the focus of a lot of complaints directed at God in the Psalms is for the purpose of restoring peace and stability in a person's life the focus of the songs chorus is nihilistic; that purpose of meaning can be found in suffering. The psalms always ultimately direct us to God, who is the author of meaning and and life of purpose.
Be careful with all music though. I've learn aot since being born again. When the Bible says Satan is the god of this age, it's not a joke. The occult is behind all genres of music. If you think I'm exaggerating look at the spirituality behind all of the top hits from Elvis, the Beatles all the way up u til now. Hollywood, Disney. Occult imagery is everywhere now.
