I was on vacation for a few days, and I needed a good dashcam for my father-in-law's car. I thought I'll try out Qubo’s Smart dashcam pro gps. Let's see how good it actually is.

Good to see that you installed Dashcam in the car, it should be made mandatory by the government to have dashcams in the vehicle as they are pretty important.
I don't know much about the costs but the video quality was not that good, like even in daylight the number plates were not clear. But I liked the features of it like it has GPS, route tracking, and shows coordinates/speed.

Can the location history be only seen when near the dashcam? i.e. it uses some nearby connection method to connect to the phone instead of internet?

The videos can be viewed only when connected to its WiFi Hotspot. It doesn't work via Internet.

I have some problems while using qubo pro x:
1. How to download recorded video clips from app to Mobile storage, currently when click on download button ( down arrow) the app is crashing.. !!
2. Currently the video recording is happening in 10 sec clips, can we extend it ?

The app works on my phone, can you try another phone per chance. Also if you have a memory card reader you can remove the memory card manually and copy onto your PC. This is much faster, but don't forget to insert the memory card back.

It works when connected to the car, you connect the mobile only when you want to view the recordings. Phone is not required for the dashcam to work.

I purchsed the non GPS version for rs3590, and using since one month. Videos are clear & beautiful but number plates of other cars not so clear. Front windshield must be cleaned properly. Reflection of Gods idols on the dashboard in the front windshield is also coming in videos, but not so troubling. When there is a jerk, a screenshot automatically comes in the memorycard (Samsung memory card rs800). By using Qubo app, It also connects with the smart phone using wifi(only wifi, no internet needed) which can also be recorded in the smartphone by pressing the record button in the Quobo app.
