I have a sandwhich ziplock bag with some emgergency things, like a mini nail file, 2 bandaids, a blister pad, a tiny case of meds, oil blotting sheets, an old chapstick tube filled with dedorant, a feminine pad, and a wetnap. I keep that stuff in the side zipup pocket inside of my purse, and keep my spare charger, brush, ear buds in a mentos case and lip balm in the bottom of my purse. I used to carry alot more, but never used it, these things I do occassionally use :)
I just discovered your channel because of Organization HQ. You are so stinkin' cute! Yeah, I hate that I can't part with my "emergency" bag because it makes my purse heavy. The older you get the less weight you want hanging on your shoulder. 😅However, the older you are the more meds you need, among other things. I have many of the same items you carry plus, fingernail clippers, wipes, eye drops, and a loud whistle in case someone tries to kidnap me...but then they would have to wait for me to dig it out!
So true about not being able to carry as much weight in your handbag the older you get! It's a paradox because I actually need to take more stuff with me the older I get!
Something i ALWAYS keep in my purse and use so often is a small measuring tape and also a sewing measuring tape. I also always keep socks(because i hate it if my feet get wet!) Love your videos! I am trying to get my life organized:)
Just in case you don't know, there is a store called Charming Charlie that carries the hand bag holders that are even more compact. The handle has hinges so it wraps around the base. They have it all different patterns and colors, they're so cute!
I have wipes which are compacted into a large tablet so you just add water and you have a wipe. I can’t get those shout wipes in Australia sadly. I carry similar things. Hair pins, hair tie. I also started carrying a spare pair of earrings because they are super small and I hate forgetting when I’m at work. My essential is reusable cutlery if I’m out and about and a portable charger.
I like to keep added to your list...q tips ,hand wipe packets,perfume,gum,monthly calendar booklet,nail clippers, concealer for touch ups,kleenex,eye glass cleaner,sewing kit...I need a flashlight,toothbrush,eye kit and the shout wipes and now a bigger purse..lol. I had no idea the little green stir stick from Starbucks fits into the "drinky hole" so when you're walking, the drink won't spill out. I've asked a few people as well, and they just thought it was a fancy pants stir stick. I'll have to find me a Starbucks and try that out. Thanks!
I am watching a lot of your videos and you are the complete opposite of me in everything you do! I try to bring as little as possible in my bag, so there is hardly anything to organise. I realised you really hardly ever need any of the things I used to carry, so I find it easier to just get things should I need something. I feel free as a bird now, and I no longer feel "incomplete" when I don't have an item with me. It has been very liberating.
love this video. i have a similar bag.. i call it my GO BAG. my daughter call it anti-zombie bag coz i have everything in it except for the kitchen sink ;P. for my daughter 12th birthday party i pack 25 tiny bags each containing lip balm, band-aid, little comb, charm bracelet, etc...kinda like a mini walking pharmacy as her gift pack. all of her friends love it....

its funny cuz i have the same kind of thing and i thought i was odd for it lol. it really mainly only consists of medication/first aid items and i only bring the whole thing with me when on vacation and otherwise just leave it in my bedroom so i always know where my medications and such are or bring just a few of the items with me in my purse like advil, imodium, dramamine. now that i saw your video i am considering doing a video of my own about what i have in mine. thanks so much for the inspiration. btw omg i want that purse hanger! i am always at a loss for where to place my purse at restaurants cuz the floor is gross and most chairs don't have a good place to hang it without it falling to the floor. half the time i cross my legs and set it in between them lol.

oh my gosh jen i totally save those starbucks things too! starbucks is the only coffee place that has them and they are so useful! i've started washing them, wrapping them in a little paper towel and putting them in all my bags so that in case i grab coffee from somewhere other than starbucks i won't have a big spill! i'm so happy someone else saves them too! lol
I've actually been carrying around a very similar "emergency kit" for the last 5 years & It has come in handy many times! I live in a big city in which I am often 30 min to an hour away from home..so it is nice to have some essentials on hand. I don't have a hair brush or a pair of underwear in my bag, but I would like to buy a hairbrush like that. Some things I carry that you didn't have: allergy medicine, kleenex, & sunglass cleaner.
oh yes by the way i have almost everything u showed in a make up bag.... made me smile and good to know someone else ithinks like me. my whole family laughs at me cause i carry so much stuff..i downsized to a makeup bag. i use to carry a bag with my purse....lol take care dot

Honey is now easy to carry around...look up "Honey Drops" by "Honibe". They're like sugar cubes but they're made of pure honey and meant to be portable. They even have honey lozenges and honey sprinkles. Honibe.com (and like me, they're Canadian. So that's cool too right?) LOL....
i carry in mine mouth wash, hand sanitizer, condom, hair ties and bobby pins, tide to go, tampons, panty liner, menstrual cup, feminine wipes, excedrine migrane, tylenol, zip lock bag, chap stick, tums, acne treatment stick, band aids, alcohol wipes. the other essentials go in my makeup kit like my mirror, brush, deodorant, mattifing creme, eyeliner, lip gloss,powder. i always have a bigger tube of hand creme
So, do you happen to be a Virgo? (I am, which is why I'm asking, b/c I could swear you were talking about MY case) I could probably do minor surgery with what I carry! :)

Have you truly groomed your eyebrows while out and about? What's the point of carrying products you no longer use? Give them away to someone who will use and enjoy! How many sizes of band-aids are needed? If it's too big for the ouch it's ok. I was surprised you didn't have a mini snack bag for your travel pharmacy

You should add a Band Aid Friction Block Stick. It comes in handy for shoes that rub.
Since you like agave and honey, you should try honey sticks or honey straws. Bite the end open and you can stir it into your tea!

You're allowed to have tweezers on the plane now. Or at least I have taken mine in carryon for 2 trips to the States this year

What brand of digestive enzymes do you take? I have tried several different ones and am currently taking Raw from whole foods.
