Anyway The Keeley Fuzz Bender is The Best Fuzz Pedal I have ever played And it's not that pricey If you truly want rip snorting FUZZ,. get one.

i don't know...mostly because it never presented itself to be an issue. plus, it's not a wholly germanium fuzz. if i remember correctly its a germanium/silicon combo
Yeah I believe it has 2 silicons and one germanium. The reason I ask is because I have the fat fuzz factory and the temperature issue is really annoying. I don’t mind the feedback and all the weird frequencies, but having to play without the heater in the room during winter pisses me off

It also does that octaving thing with the neck pickup. I wish it had more gain. My Triangle Big Muff Pi reissue destroys this thing for gain and clarity on leads.

The answer is simple: I haven’t tried the Fuzzstration so I can’t choose between them. I don’t know if the Fuzzstration is Tone Bender-based like the Fuzz Bender is.
Very tweakable & expressive - the only deal breaker for me is : - chrome knobs are not really useable in LIVE settings ... If you are more than a few feet away from these type of designs under hot lights or even in low studio lighting, there's no way to easily tell where the controls are set. That's an EZ fix though.
I don't know, these fuzztone pedals doesn't appeal to me. I had the big muff, now the polysaturator. I have to set them low gain. Tough, I watch because I like they way you play.

i feel like they do share similar DNA but the Black Ash leans towards the "cleaner" side of fuzz

i don't have any issues with them...I'd generally keep one setting on hear and not mess with it.
