Apparitions was invoked at the Kindertranen Studio somewhere in 2014 by Herr Deportator and Urfaust and demented conditions.
Cover painting was made by Thorny Thought's Artwork and picture was taken Sabrina Walz.

Absolutely unique band. Each album is a different trip, yet powerfully reminiscent of all the others. It's like different moments of the same dream/nightmare, when you go to the most different places and dimensions, yet in the end remain stuck in the same place.
And the vocals..., well the vocals simply get 'ingrained' in your brain forever.
Wint Herr i love Urfaust with a passion, but i think thatd be very different without the vocals. While everything else alone is amazing, their vocals are for sure what sets them at a higher bar than other black metal bands imo

Absolutely love Urfaust, and this EP is fucking amazing. Meditative in a way, relaxing and dare I say, it has left me with the feeling that weights have been lifted off my shoulders!
The Healer is easily one of the best black metal songs of all time
This is so good. It's very rare I come across an album that makes me feel the way this one does. Not sure what, but something deep resonates with me.

"The healer" is simply one of the best things I´ve ever heard lately ... holy shit, I thought only Paul Chain would be able to come up with such monstruous riffs as in "park of reason" for instance ... this is GREAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent!! That's really a masterwork!!!
Love the title track. The cover art combined with that creaky old melody that leads in makes me think of old churches and how I found stuff like images of the crucifixion pretty unsettling as a kid. There's this inherit oldness and creepy strangeness about a lot of christian imagery. Weird specific emotion that Urfaust captured here for me.

I'm not much into this, but this album is a short journey through the chambers of meditation for the loners like me. The same applies to "Der freiwillige Bettler" last song 'Der zauberer'.
