Thank you so much for showing what it truly looks. I have seen other videos where kids pay attention and do not move and i used to wonder how am i going to do this my boy moves too much😅 but the reality was that those were very well edited videos never showing what it truly looks to homeschool little kids. I feel better and you have given me so much hope and positive thoughts about doing it, i can do it. Thank you for not letting moms like me doubt our kids.😊 please keep posting😊
This is so motivating to me. I have three kids and my oldest is in K at school I miss him so much. He’s gone all day and is exhausted. I can do this! ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing your lovely family! I love taking a peek at what a kinder homeschool day looks like. I am going to be homeschooling my kindergartner too and was wondering how much time is actually spent teaching. I know the video was sped up in some sections, but would you mind sharing the approximate time you sit to teach everyday? Thank you!
When it comes to core subjects and actual teaching time. I would say no more than 30 minutes a day for my current kindergartener. That includes math, language arts, and handwriting. :)
Hi there I'm looking into home schooling but I just don't know wear to find books( activity books )like u seem to have . Could u tell me wear you get them I'm very new to finding places to get learning resources from nz
I have really been considering homeschooling my oldest (she turns 5 next month) for kindergarten and this is so inspiring. How did you teach your son to read? I struggled with this myself a lot growing up and nervous how well I would teach it. Has teaching reading hard?
Thanks. How long does it take for you in one day... when you're at home? Do you take breaks in between? I have a Kindergartener who is 4 and will be 5 in two months. This is my 1st year of homeschooling and I am preparing her for our school schedule while I figure it out. I am noticing that for my daughter it's best to get it out of the way in the morning. That way she has plenty of time to play, go outside, and more later on. I'm just curious as to your time frame.
Actual sit down work is finished in under an hour. Lately I've been doing our read aloud while the kids have breakfast and then the rest of the work a bit later on. We only take one break during that hour, but the work is usually done in about 30-45 minutes. :) Morning works best for us as well!
@@ThisHomeschoolHouse thank you. I didn't realize that reading while the kids eat a snack or during their meal would be effective and a good use of time... it never occurred to me. I think it's because I'm 💯 new to this.

I purchase a lot of what I use online in PDF form and then print them. :)

We've used a few curriculums but All About Reading is super solid and makes it simple.
Another pro of homeschooling is you learn too the things you may have had issues with before. Its a learning process for everyone involved.
What book did you read to your kids for history?
It's the Story of The World curriculum :)
An awesome vid. Just wondering why you do it all at once without giving Jack any breaks?
Probably works best for their family
I searched your blog posts but couldn’t find the answer. What is the name of the history book you’re reading from in the beginning?
It would have been Story of the World. :)
What curriculum program do you use?
Maybe someone asked this, but what curriculum are you using for the seasons? I love how it helps keep God in perspective. :)
Also do you use a certain curriculum for all of your homeschool lessons?
Take a quick search of my channel and you'll see all the curriculum we're using this year. :)
After all is said and done, what curriculums for each subject worked for your kindergartener and you? Thank you.
I have a year-end update video up on my channel with all my reviews. :)
Which curriculum you are using
