    UNBELIEVABLE! Is there a Nobel prize for teaching? You deserve it! Your ability to explain both complex and simple processes is uncanny. I have never see anything like this. You are THE STANDARD for teaching. I hope that one day the world discovers you, Mr. Saket Bansal for the gem you are!

    Wow..the explanation of the concepts are truly remarkable. I was wondering if you could have this explained using a tool (say JIRA) as it would really help us visualize it in realtime.

    • @izenbridge
      @izenbridge  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Subash, for your kind words!! Thanks for the feedback - the idea is to explain the concept which you can use in any tool. The idea is independent of any tool, and different people use different tools. Yes, right now, Jira is widely used, but it may not be the situation after two years.

    Great illustration on the Kanban workflow. However, if I may contribute to your illustration about the swimlane you marked as "urgent" - urgency is relative, hence great care should be taken to first develop a generic acceptance criteria for the admission of work items into the "urgent" swimlane, especially in terms of scope, risk, and priority in the workflow. Thanks again.

    Hi Saket i have Quick Question. Assume one Folks took max 3 Task in Development Phase and we gave 3 as WIP limit. But he got one Urgent request that he need to do it on same day, then can we consider WIP limit as 4 ?

    • @saketbansal2753
      @saketbansal2753 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Usually, teams make policy for WIP and Urgent Class of Service is usually kept outside of WIP limit. Again this is team decision.

      @@saketbansal2753 Hello. Opposite Question. I have 3 folks and 3 tasks in Development but one get sick. So now i have 2 folks but 3 tasks??? How do i "adjust". Thanks.

    • @saketbansal2753
      @saketbansal2753 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@paulosimao7411 No rule, so you as a team decide which task goes ahead and which can keeps waiting. In general for such random changes teams do not change the WIP limits they work with them as a case.
      We need to find a balance , if WIP is high work is waiting, if WIP is low , may be worker is waiting for work.
      How it works for you?

    Are there 3 items in development for one programmer? Once I had 3 items in development and 1 item in urgent development -- that was awful.
