If you are planning to grow chilli plants at home and live in a colder climate like our self in England. It's best to sow your seeds indoors as early as December, although you can plant your chilli seeds up to March.

Unfortunately watering just seeded pots in such away will most likely wash your little seeds away. Besides watering the soil in the pots firstly before the seeds are planted is a far better option.

Soak The Seeds in the water for three hours but no more then six.

Thank you for this video, is it ok to start sowing now because it is really cold. One more question, can I leave the tray near radiator to get enough heat.
Seeds need heat to germinate. We started in December. Chillies need a long season to get to the fruiting stage.
Buy an electric propagator, you can get one for £15 in b&q or Homebase. It makes it so easy
