Funnily enough. The .50 Browning Machine Gun cartridge is a 3moa cartridge. Therefore no matter the rifle there will never be a 50bmg sniper rifle. It works great as a machine gun round as designed. The sheer size of the bullet makes it a good candidate for anti material applications like with the barrett, as well as for fitting a payload like explosives.
What’s better than 2?? Obviously 3 😂
The fact that "2 skrimpin' boats" was under the "read more" option made this so much better.
@@daelinblack6681 This is objectively false. There are several loads for .50bmg, and even the most generic, M2 ball or M33, 3MOA is an atrocious level of quality control. Maybe the round was 3MOA when it was introduced, that I don't know about. But in a modern rifle with decent quality ammunition, an experienced shooter should have no problem dropping 1MOA groups.

As a native Louisianian, I can confirm that Skrimp Boats armed with belt fed .50's are our main mode of transportation. Andrew Jackson lead a fleet of them in his defense of New Orelans. They are a central part of our heritage.
