Watching models being built whilst building a model is a lot of fun! (Currently Building the Airfix 1/72 Phantom FG.1)
I did the same thing for the first yesterday. I watched Night Shift do some weathering while building Panther G tanks from Flames of War.

This one remains one of the best dioramas out there. I found myself draw to it from time to time, coming back to see it again. I will probabily do this forever. Simply amazing !
I have visited chernobyl myself and this diorama looks 1000000% the same as the abandoned MAZ-537 I saw there

I believe he used photographs of the vehicles as a reference. He linked the pictures he used in one of his MAZ truck videos.

I thought railway modellers worked to high levels of detail but this takes it to a whole new level - just incredible. The standard of the structure and vehicle is outrageously high but the vegetation (and those cobwebs) - just unbelievable, WOW !!

Every time I watch your works I'm stuck between loving it as a normal person and admiring the work and effort that you do. And when I realize that I'm trying to build some models as I'm a plastic modeler the depression hangs over me that I will never in a million years can do half of this.
I feel you. I hope to build model WW2 tanks and dioramas but then I seen how much work you need to put in and the etiquetteness of the models. Plus with all the paints, glues, woods, stains, and tools I need, I’m only 15 and I don’t have all the money for such supplies. I might start off with Tamiya models and I might work my way from there
@@capitalistmatt5645I realized that the best thing to do is just enjoy the hobby and appreciate what you are doing regardless of anything else its what you and only you will have that moment in the end of your project knowing all the works that you did in each part and all the small mistakes that you have learned not to repeat again its about you feeling the satisfaction none else.

I'm just starting to get into modelling and eventually I want to build a miniature make shift 1/72 USAAF WWII airfield, and when you look at the final vision it can be daunting to think of everything it's going to take to make it. But, if you just focus on one thing at a time, soon enough it will start to take shape and come together! At the moment I'm simply focusing on gathering a fleet of WWII USAAF aircraft and ground crew vehicles, then I will get personnel, then structures, items, and eventually put it all together on a terrain. It may take some time, possible even years before I will be able to call it complete, but it's the journey to get to that point which will be the fun part.

The dislikes are from people who don't have any art skills and are jealous of his mad skills. I paint some war gaming miniatures for battletech but I'm no way neer this level of skill. Love watching his videos.

This video came up in my TH-cam recommendations, I’m so glad it did. I’m an older guy just getting started in building basic plastic models. I could never see myself building anything like this, such detail! Wonderful!

@@Jesse__H but you can pick up really good techniques from him. I found myself using sea foam trees and a lot more green for my next diorama, you could make an interesting concept of a peaceful "calm before the storm" scenario which is what I am attempting with my next project.

War Robots Grinder Frost one of the flyhawk 1/700 u-boats would be great for this. Loads of detail, like the flyhawk Bismarck that David built a few videos back, but without the marathon build process. Which I'm sure David would appreciate given that he seems to be trying to put a video out once a week.

Your skills and imagination are sheer genius to me. When I think you are done you keep going. The plethora of supplies effect detail more and more plausible. I would like the nay sayers to post their dioramas and models I would enjoy theirs also as long as the camera work and voice over music and result are equal to or better. P.S. вот только шифер на крыше ты нарисовал ржавым (rust), но шифер не ржавеет,он же не железный)) он проростает мхом,травой и даже кустарниками,но не ржавеет (No rust)

Я ему коммент наваял с пояснениями, авось на будущее пригодится. Он скорее всего просто не знает что такое шифер, наверное подумал что это профилированное железо как сейчас используется.

Man - you are a master.
But, let me, I want to say about two, in my opinion quite large mistakes.
1. You might not know, but at that time the roof covering sheets (we called them "SHEEFER") were made on the basis of asbestos-cement mixture and they cannot be bent. With a physical impact, they broke or pieces were broken off, but they could not bend.
2. It seems to me that the house itself and the fence (they are magnificently executed) do not get into scale with the tractor. The tractor itself is quite large, and in order to match the scale with the size of the house and the fence, it must be applied one and a half times larger. Here I can be mistaken, since this is my subjective perception when watching a video.
But in general - the diorama is done masterly. You're doing fine !

This is a compliment to how amazing your skills are and how far in your own league you are, it's hilarious.
Fill a seam with baking soda then apply thin super glue. BAM! Great seam filler, and easy to sand.

The first time I visited one of those beautiful dioramas I guessed you were from Slovakia. Well, I wasn't that far off. But concerning your work? Man! I am SO yealous! This is high end art! I'll hope you get properly paid for this.
