Believe it or not, I was on the right side about 5 to 7 "rows" back, and I was the one that started yelling, "REASON FOR THE SEASON!!" Well, he heard me when there was a break in their talking, and he looked right at me and said, "Reason for the Season? Man, it's not Christmas, guy!" Oz turns away at the point he starts singing Winter Wonderland, as I think he knew Michael was going to start singing it. Michael puts his guitar back down because they were about to do Soldiers. At 1:22:10, Oz says, "It's not even on the set list, but here we go!" I check the set list after the concert, and it wasn't on there. This girl behind me was high-fiving me (multiple times) after Winter Wonderland because she said it was the only song of theirs that she had not heard them do live in concert. I told here I was wanting to hear "Reason for the Season," but to know I altered a Stryper concert, and left my mark on the world, made me smile inside.
My brother john and I were there" front row. Best concert EVER God bless Doug van pelt publisher and founder of Heaven's metal magazine man who introduced the band. God bless STRYPER!
Awesome performance of Makes Me Want to Sing, one of my favorite Stryper songs. This whole concert has got to be one of the best ever and with all four original band members! Someone tell Stryper this concert needs to be released on CD and DVD!

I was there too!! It was so great to see the boys back together. Who knew it was the start to Stryper 2.0 with such great records to come! Stryper rules! Michael Sweet played a great solo show there earlier in the day or the day before, I can't remember which now. He was supporting his solo album Truth.
I always heard about Cornerstone festival ever since there was a year that Living Sacrifice was headlining (I think they were, anyways). Wishing I could have seen them in concert and other bands. Now that I know Stryper played there, I wish I could have experienced Cornerstone even more!
06-More Than A Man - The tune that I feel, summed it all up, in spite of a hiccup, a few "they are human" mistakes, as to what STRYPER, as a band, (Not a 'Christian', nor a 'secular' band, STRYPER is, and will always be 'unique', a group unlike their peers, yet similar in some regards, they have a very specific, very enigmatic 'Calling' & Ministry), is all about! This tune opened doors that were previously closed & sealed very firmly from the other side...... Just an incredible song, I'd love to hear a new, updated version, with the newer production & engineering advances that have come to fruition in recent years. With the exception of "YAHWEH", I personally feel this is Stryper's greatest achievment as a band. 777 ~

Oh my gosh I used to go see Stryper live all the time when they came to the Crocodile Rock Cafe Allentown Pennsylvania. Since they had closed Crocodile Rock Cafe haven't seen striper since then. I will say that we do have a place right here in Bethlehem Pennsylvania called The Sands. But for some reason Stryper has never been there. I definitely would love to see Stryper play there like seriously. But I don't think that's going to happen. I did talk to the one guy who's in charge of hiring a band or whatever they do to have them come there. But so far no STRYPER yet. I truly do miss seeing them live in concert. Just hopefully one day I get to see them one more time before they retire but I doubt if that will ever happen. Like I said the only time I will get to see Stryper in concert again if they come to the Sands in Bethlehem Pennsylvania. I mean they did have Skillet come to the Sands in Bethlehem Pennsylvania but I prefer Stryper. Stryper is a lot more popular and much better than Skillet will ever be. Don't get me wrong I do like Skillet I have couple of their CDs and I want to see them live already. It's just that I rather see Stryper than any other bands.
I was at the show on the left . I was right beside the first security guy setting on the catwalk. There was this guy from England that couldn't see because of the guy setting there. He got mad and yelled at him. He says " Hey fat so , I didn't travel 3 thousand miles to stare at your bloody back " It was funny..
I was on the right about 5 to 7 "rows" back from the front, and had some guy trying to push a chair forward inch by inch, so he could get 15 inches closer to take a picture. He dug it in the back of my leg each time he moved it, and when I'd turn around, he would stand on the chair and take a picture. After a half dozen times of this, I grabbed the chair and started to shake it, and when he looked at me, I screamed in his face (as the music was screaming LOUD) that "IF YOU DON'T GET RID OF THIS FRICKIN' CHAIR, I'M GOING TO THROW THE DANG THING A FRICKIN' MILE!!!!!!!" I was SOOOOOOO close to busting out some curse words at a Stryper concert, but after screaming at him, I repented, and went on to rock it out the rest of the night.

They’ve said from the beginning they didn’t want to be labeled a Christian band only because they felt that label would pigeonhole them into only being marketed in the Christian music scene and their albums being stuck in the small “gospel section” of secular music stores that no non Christian rock/metal fan would ever look at. Their mission is to reach the secular rock and metal fans, not just the church crowd. Remember, as Christians we are called to go into ALL THE WORLD to spread the message of the gospel, not the church world, and Stryper has never stopped doing that even up to now! No matter what label they have or don’t have, they continue to write songs boldly proclaiming the gospel, continue to throw out bibles to the crowd at their concerts, and continue to proclaim Jesus at their concerts no matter if it’s a secular venue to a secular crowd or a Christian crowd. Personally I couldn’t care less if they claim to be a Christian band or not because their fruit continues prove that they are committed to Jesus!
