- This isn't supposed to be an exposed video, but I realised I have never posted a video on my favourite slash dk playstyle so I headed to the desert. Unfortunately, deep slash a terrible skill now but I still managed to kill some decent players with it.
I tried using Essence thief, Kynmarchers and Bloodspawn for the build. I did slap on Jeralls vs a few of the people due to stalemates etc. I did still die to a few people, but the main intention was just to show some of the bash cancel mechanics and stuff I like to do, rather than the actual results.
Also, the “healthbait with corrosive” part is kinda cringe but I put it in just in case I look like a noob spamming offensive skills on low hp.
If I play again it will probably be more outnumbered and 1vx content.

Keep it up good to see that smooth gameplay the kyn and essence combo has to be still nasty with saints and seducer as well

@@DragonSergeant would you ever try heroic slash? sounds trash but I think the ulti regen is good and maybe put immobilize poisons on the snb?
I think heroic slash is beyond saving tbh :(
I do use those poisons quite a lot though, they’re really strong.

I wish there were more dk builds like this all pvp dks now have the same front and back bar I miss when Dswing and other weapon skills where used and not stam dks using whip 😭

I would say zaan templar is stronger. Especially since jeralls can be countered with cleansing cp etc.

I think it depends on the matchup but that’s definitely a really solid setup

Since you said low slash is a bad skill in the description do you think there is any alternative skill for the set up? Also what would you change for solo cyro?
Solo cyro I would run a completely different setup and playstyle tbh. Yes, there are lots of skills you could run. Arterial, whip, stone fist, possibly the new scribing skills, I’m not too sure yet.
@@DragonSergeant Yes I thought so about cyro. What build do you recommend for solo tho? I have quite a bit of dk builds but I always like getting suggestions!
The most stat dense sets on dk I could think of are probably daedric trickery, rally, bloodspawn. I would probably start testing that then change out rally for a damage set if the damage is too low.
You could also keep them and run thrassian as the mythic which would be very op but annoying to get stacks on.
@@DragonSergeant Yes RC and daedric is a very common set up. I use it here and there.

It’s kynmarch snb bar essence back bar he weaves with a infused two h to proc essence and his oblivion glypth bar swaps with dots applied to proc kynmarch weaves bashes and slash
Going to assume bloodspawn also cause it’s a good dk staple

It’s a good mechanic, it cancels your ability faster imo. I liked doing it until you start to overuse it out of overconfidence or greed looking for a flashy kill. I found it best only to do it with buffs and debuffs, too many lost kill opportunities especially when vsing equally skilled players.
Yeah, that’s a valid criticism. But I’m not doing bar swaps to “speed skills up”, I’m doing it to make sure I land extra shield bash damage no matter what bar I’m on. I feel like overall it increases your pressure by a lot though and helps catch people off. There were also a lot of times you can see where I light attack > execute > swap > bash > swap straight away so I have enough time to swap back to the execute bar and still get extra damage. Like at 2:14

@DragonSergeant my weaving is fine, but for some reason the bash either doesn't come out or somes out very delayed. Not sure what's going. I'm probably trash, nothing compared to you GOATdk
It could be ping issues and stuff too though. I probably couldn’t do this with the skill delay I get on NA for example.

@dragonsergeant what weapon traits are you rocking and gylths cant understand where the damage his coming from?
I don’t remember the cp, I’m running infused oblivion glyph on my 2h which is always one of the highest damage amounts on my combat metrics

Weapon damage, I tried bash damage but I didn’t like them as much. I think it’s only better if you run shield slam as spammable too or spam bash multiple times in a row between skills.

I ran bloodspawn mostly when I could, you can see it on my buff bar most fights. Also, did you see what I was against? 😅 It becomes less of a carry when the builds you are fighting have even cheesier setups.

I didn’t die more to most people? Also I only remember using cleanse cp in like 1 duel and you can see the bloodspawn proc in lots of the duels. The ‘kiting’ is just decent movement with momentum jumping. Next time I’ll make a video where I stand in front of them and rotate 1 skill a second like most other people.

The only person there that I remember beating me more was molagj, but he was also on the strongest duelling setup in the game, templar with zaans. That’s not a matchup I’m supposed to win, but if that was you, fair enough and ggs. 👏

playing the game in a wheelchair set then making videos is about the most embarrassing thing you can do in this game besides be a metabad and xv1 tower champ.

Dude, you do know bis for corrosive DK is kynmarcher and Essence. You get more DMG out of kynmarcher than rally, you don't need rally as much on your snb corrosive build. So guess you play with spriggans?
