  • The fourth video segment begins to address some deeper concepts with a discussion on Barebow Form.
In this segment, Coach Elton broaches the topic of form, with a brief conversation on alignment, and an in depth analysis of a shooters form, along with the corrective actions desired. He then shares his personal training exercise, that beginners can use to improve their own form at home, even in the absence of a Coach.

I think your alignment towards the pressure point is correct. I think it is more consistent than aligning on the pivot point.

Please keep making videos... I like your pacing and the fact that you give just the right amount of information without talking excessively.

Hi, maybe you should give a more detailed explanation of your lines of the draw line assignment and why you put them from different spots on the elbow to the grip and why you are looking at this? Like the videos, they are quite noce to look at and give the beginners a small tutorial on queries coming up but remember to keep it really basic because otherwise I will get tonnes of queries asking why and what you are stating ;)

The lines indicate the forces applied through each joint of the body and contact points with the bow. Each line is considered rigid, while each point is a point of possible/required flex. This is done commonly in sports coaching to help an athlete understand where and how to position their body parts.
In the case of archery form, the best results typically come from shooting form that reduces unnecessary flex in the bow side arm, and the draw side wrist. Being aligned in this fashion helps to create easier to repeat stability, which inherently produces consistency; a critical element of archery.
