So professional, he literally improvised & used the mic at the presentation podium , then you see him trying to figure out his next move vis tapping his nails frantically on the podium , then he gets the mic from one of the stage assistants!

The mic they handed him was NOT the one they practiced with at sound check, so he basically couldn't hear himself with the music as well as he should have been able to. This is why he taps his ear at 2:42. He managed to sing on key and dance his whole routine. Legend.
