1. Air Jordan 13 2. Air Jordan 14 3. Air Jordan 10 4. Air Jordan 7 5. Air Jordan 11 I didn’t know the OG 14s had articulated zoom like that. I wish that was on the retros 🌠
@@javierdiaz5089 12s are too bulky. I had the Original flu game 12s and didn't ball in them once because they were so heavy on the feet. I have multiple retros now, but my hard balling days are over. So they are lifestyle collectables now!
I like how you said that whenever you see these shoes on court you always say “man, I miss the 90s” cuz I’m the same way whenever I see an AJ 13 or AJ 12 on court
I was literally just hooping in the air jordan 14's last shot. Really great shoe, absolutely loving it. I did decide to get it after watching your video on it. Never looked back after.
Yoooo this was coincidence. I was basically thinking about using my jordan retros for balling instead of buying release basketball shoes and suddenly u uploaded a video like this which is great! Very genius! Ur the best and gives us more information for people that is not that in depth knowledgeable in sneakers and giving us an idea how it will go if we decided to use them for playing ball. I just got my second pairs of 12s (my favorite of the retros j's) and I feel bad for having 2 pairs of them but after watching this video it makes me satisfied and happy about what I did lol! Have a good one!
You hit it on the head! The 12s are my absolute favorite to play in. Most comfortable, supportive, durable. I would say the WORST I have ever played in was the 7s. No support at all and flimsy. They fell apart over time as well. The 8s are my second choice. Super supportive and comfort. Only draw back was they were very hot and I would get athletes foot in them.
The Jordan 8 were always my favorites...until I had one pair of the Jordan 8 2.0....if they bring these back, I will buy 3 pairs...the traction on the 2.0 so soooo much better and they also fixed the pinky area that would always rip open over time...but fully agree with you, the 8s are awesome to play in...
Funny enough, MJ did actually get athlete's feet during their first 3-peat in those 8s. Supportive, yes, lockdown, yes but I have no idea why Tinker forgot to put some degree of breathability or some light materials at the time. Very likely he was getting close to burnout even before the 15s.
@@IAmInfinitus208 The Jordan 8 were heavily influenced by the Nike Air Raid (1992) which people called the Tim Hardaway unofficial signature shoe since he appeared in those Spike Lee commercials. I owned the Air Raids at one point and just like the Jordan 8s the breathability is near non existent.
12s are definitely the GOAT performance retro! Love the 11s looks on court but yeah they absolutely shred my pinky toes. Still crossing my fingers for a full wrap up video on the air Jordan Project!
The 13 has got to be it. Retro 13s still maintain that stability and comfort on/off court. I never have a time where i need to rest my feet, it is super comfortable and breathable and is tight enough
I don't give a damn about how late this comment is, but I wanted to say that I appreciate that you are not some hype reviewer. I love that you bring the shoe back to it's basic form..ON COURT! I remember running these shoes up and down the lines, now I only see kids selling them over priced. Good on you, brother. I am a sneakerhead myself and collect "MY" grails, but always appreciate someone who brings them back on court.
I will agree. Nice padding around the ankles. Nice sole cushioning. Convenient speed lacing system. Enough room in the toe box area. Nice understated design. Clever sole listing MJ's NBA accomplishments by year. I always thought the Jordan 10 were like the Jordan 11 that didn't have time left before the school homework deadline. So the designer turned it in as it was. My dream design for the Jordan 10 is to include the patented leather that was on the 11s to be added on the 10s. And make it a bred colorway. That would be my dream Jordan sneaker.
12's have excellent ankle support. So good in fact I changed into them when I rolled my ankle and tightened them up, And It made me walk around much easier.
I had all of those in the original version. 13 hands down my favorite all around air Jordan in performance, style, comfort and fit. My favorite looking is the AJ9
I love the 13’s and 12’s. The 13’s give me a little bit more foot soreness but it’s only a rare occasion so the 12’s take the cake. Plus my favorite players Ray Allen had memorable 13 PE’s and Mike Finley had memorable 12 PE’s. Thanks for the vid Nightwing!
Le'Teiz J 6s to play bball? My feet almost died wearing that for basketball. It does not have ample cushion thats why Mj double sock em when he wore them back in the day.
ohhh man like i cant get over how much I agree with you personal tastes and this video!! was really happy to see the 14s in there! They are definitely one of my favorites. but i couldnt agree more on this and honestly id use these out of a lot of modern day shoes also
