  • I loved this game in the arcades back in the '90s. Is it still fun to play today?

Something I didn't mention in the video was the 360 cabinet version of this game. Unfortunately I never got to play it but if I find one I'll make a video on it!

When I was younger at our local arcade they had Afterburner, Afterburner 2, and G-LOC all in their moving cabinets. They also had the “car” cabinet for Out Run and the “Bike” cabinet for Hang On too. Sega had the best arcade experience hands down!

The longer I breathe, the more respect I have for Sega and their hand in the Video Game Industry.

My local arcade had the Afterburner moving cabinet, it was awesome. Loved these 90's flight arcade experiences!

And this kids...this is why arcades rocked. Such a shame they’re history outside Japan.

Moving cockpits, as seen in Terminator 2. Although that one was Afterburner.

The sense of motion and speed was incredible on these arcade CRT displays. Nothing modern can compare to it.

My local arcade used to have the 360 degrees G-LOC arcade, which was astounding for Indonesia at the time. It always had long lines to play, and scared the crap out of me when you do a half roll and you stay inverted.

It's also the game John Conner is playing when T-1000 is looking for him at the mall in Terminator 2.

Play it on the R-360. It's very hard when it spins you upside down as it can sort of stay there.

Thanks for making a video of this arcade classic! We have recently picked up an original machine - just as pictured here - which we’re hoping to restore and release in our retro arcade, so everyone can enjoy the game once more!

I vaguely remember this game in the arcade as a very young kid. Awesome to see again, thanks Shane!

Cant believe you have not heard or seen the 360 degree gloc cabinet. Its the best arcade cabinet ever and required a member of staff to strap you in. Look it up.
