I agree, a movie would be very entertaining. Try reading "the lost book of Enki" by Zacharia Stetchen. It gives perspective of the original gods that all other gods are storied from as translated from ancient cuneiform tablets. The annunaki were here for 430,000 years!
I have said that for years and not some fluff piece but a really gritty honest movie and we don't need Hollywood doing what they ALWAYS DO and putting a stupid love story going on in the middle of it. Just tell the damn story THE WAY IT IS IN THE BOOK OF ENOCH which is the most detailed account of it.
Eternals is a similar concept.
I have said for YEARS a big budget movie about the Native American wars with the Giants would be a great movie but anything to do with the watchers or their off spring would be great as long as they just stick to the story don't try to force some love story in the middle of it. And the way they made the watchers look in Noah was stupid.
Well just putting it out there, I’ve written a book but yet to be published. It’s a fictional story from the very start to present day and what’s going to be, if it ever becomes a movie it will be a blockbuster, at the moment I need to have it published, but seems impossible, with working life and wife and kids to see to. But I’ll keep trying to make it happen, the book/story is call THE DYING LIGHT, nothing happens unless something makes it happen. Keep my fingers crossed.

One could argue that the fallen angels became worshipped as pagan gods, and their children the demigods/nephilim. Their wives may have "ascended" into the goddesses we read about. So you are not off.

How do you know that the people of this time didn’t consider the angels gods. Those stories could have derived from what they understood about this event. Maybe this was their perception of the watchers’ affairs and the occurrences that took place after. Please be careful in studying this though, I believe the Bible warns against this. I don’t 100% know, that’s just my observation or thought. Although, isn’t it funny how they tell us that giants were nonexistent, and they only exist in fairytales. Well, that’s one lie debunked.

It sucks that the series got rushed & that one dude who got fired in the beginning of the anime's popularity spoiled the original origin story, and so the creators re-did the origin story and it sucks so much. Season 1 will always be the best.

@@jerm5466 "inspired" doesn't equal to "based". The creators put a lot of details in the show that are not uniquely original ideas. The word "Titan" comes from Greek mythology. And I read/heard this incident about attack on titan years ago. Whatever they tell the fans now is just gossip. I can't recall everything, but one of the original creators or associates did get fired for some reason and gave tons of spoilers.

There are some interesting parallels here to Greek mythology. Azazel, like Prometheus, teaches man things we weren't supposed to know. The Nephilim or the Watchers themselves can be seen as titans and some of the Nephilim are even described as the heroes of old, possibly figures like Hercules and Achilles.

Yes I believe that to be very accurate. Not just in the greek but look how identical it is in all the religions around the world. Even the babilonian texts show evidence of this. You look at ancient anunakki texts as well and hieroglyphs you'll see evidence of the nephilim throughout all every culture that dates through antiquities. They hint towards the fallen Angel's and their hybrid children. They say in the antediluvian time there were close to 11 billion nephilim before the flood hit.

If I may say something sir/madame I am quite learned in biblical literature and find it fascinating to learn about but from a more realistic point of view I can say with confidence that this creatures known as the watchers are a justification of sorts by the biblical writers to explain why men have tools,weapons,war,make up(yes you heard me) etc.This book of Enoch among other things tries to explain how man got to the point it was as of the time the writers where living in.

(Authoritarian governments and human dictators are basically man trying to do the same thing by playing God to dominate others). The letter from James in the New Testament says that true and undefiled religion that is good and pleasing to God the Father is to do good and neet the needs of others, especially to help the most vulnerable and the most likely to be ignored, taken advantage of and abandoned like orphans and elderly widows (basically summed up in "love your neighbor as yourself" and "do to and for others what you would have them to for you."), as well as to resist temptation and guard yourself from moral and spiritual corruption by the sins and evils of the world around us. Jesus saod it himself, the greatest laws that sum up the takeaway from all of the Law and the Prophets is to love God and love your fellow man. You effectively do one by doing the other because the very essence and nature of God is love. If you strive to love God and fellow man, you honor the spirit/intent of the divine law amd thereby practice "true religion."

In that same story, The prophet at the time was Enoch. He is called Idris in the Islamic perspective and he went though this event and stood with God against the watchers. After this was over, his soul was taken to heaven and shown all the wonders of the visible universe and then he was transform into a Angel. We can decide if we want to be close to God and battle temptation though patience and restraint. Enoch is a sign for hope and mercy and God's love. Don't lose faith my friend.

Given that the lake of fire is the purifying, naked existence in the unfiltered presence of God, that will be interesting. Personally, I kind of have to winder about some elements of Enoch. A lot of the stuff about now popular conceptions of hell pertaining ti the concept of literal conscioud physical torture in flames for literally forever are actually greatly influenced, if not outright created wholecloth by gnostic beliefs. Biblical refeemces of judgment to fire and brimstone is a symbolic image of metalworking, where rather than a lake, as in a large, contained body of water, a small smelting pool used sulfer (brimstone) to remove the dross and purify metals. This image carries forward to the New Testament in regards to people's works being tested in symbolic fire where the perishable, sinful works, represented by hay, straw, chaff, would all be burned away, leaving nothing but whatever good and righteous works remain which are prepresented by purified gold amd silver and precious stones. Also worthy of note that the greek langjage used in reference to God's judgment through "hell" uses the term for painful, but nevertheless, corrective discipline for the benefit of tbe one being punished, rather than purely sadistic punishment done to inflict suffering for the pleasure amd satisfaction of the punisher.

I was wondering what the motivation might have been on the part of the Watchers to teach mankind all these things, and I think it was as you suggested, that they wanted mankind to be independent of God by giving them knowledge of the power of witchcraft, the making of weapons, searching for signs in the stars, etc. Seeking knowledge rather than obedience and submission to God was the reason Adam and Eve fell from God's grace in the beginning, and, using the pride of man, the Watchers sought to make them as corrupt and disobedient as they were.
