Single cylinder bikes dnt hv a good exhaust note no mttr wht one dose, it's going to only sound like a 2 stroke bike. If one wants good exhaust note buy a 4 cylinder bike instd. I would pick k&n filter over aftr market exhaust any day it's not this annoying.
I own pulsar 220f bs4, i installed akrapovic on it, now engine has to work more to achieve the same power.. let's see is the things improved after putting db killer in muffler..if no improvement better to remove this fuc*ing thing from my bike.
1st thing that we all don't follow is after having the after market exhaust the ECU need to be remapped and the air filter also need to be replaced, so this throttle issue is happening because there is a possibility of ECU not remapped and at the same time have you installed catalytic converter, if not get it installed so that you do not face the issues.
firstly you have removed the catalytic converter, second is that engine backpressure is gone, third it feels like you have also installed an aftermarket filter which screw the engine even more.
Nope... All this will not screw your engine if both exhaust and filter are of good quality and reputed brand... And main thing you need to get your bike tuned after you do these modifications that will ensure the long life of the engine and proper output

That sound make by cylinder and firing order that tune buy engine..If any one can do by changing silencer then we don't need engineers
Lack in initial pickup is natural I m riding this same bike and face same stuff, after clocking 2500km my bike starting making gap in pickup and I show to the head engineer of the Yamaha service center he told me the same thing it's natural and it's also written on the book company's tuned bikes around 1200 rpm to 1300 rpm in ideal...and I noticed in between this rpm bike makes some gap in initial pickup I think company's should keep 1400 rpm to 1500 rpm to get a nice and without any weird sound performance.
Problem it's actually issues of FI you have to put HP ka power 95 wala fuel before that carbon cleaner of yamaha, advertising nhi Karr rha hai bus Mera experience bike ka sath ascha hogaya.

I've been saving frm last October to buy this bike, well wanted to know if it's worth it as I live in Bangalore the on road price here is 2.4 lakh If I spend so much & happen to notice rust issues it's heart breaking. Yes it definitely has rust issues.but if you really wanna buy the bike you should and just take care of the places where rust is usually coming for other buyers before it occurs.
Rust issues are there but it's inside u can't see rust outside anywhere , inside means just below the seat and in some of the nuts it's happens if u not keep maintaining the same .
