Mat this is a wonderful video! Too many of today’s supposed off-road experts have forgotten, or are completely oblivious, to just how effective, utilitarian, and purely ‘fit for purpose’ these basic old jalopies really were.
I’m trying to find more videos of the 1918 touring sedan. I just got a body and radiator shell a few days ago from a local hot rod builder who past away. It’s a car body he saved for decades for all the right parts. Dave had 32 fords , mercs and other popular ones in his time but he favored this car. Unfortunate the 331 hemi he had and 3 speed were sold to someone else. I still scored a rare car though
He didn't stop to pick up what he lost out of the back seat, and I'm wondering how many hot patches on the tire tubes did he also have a stock of black pepper to use in radiator ***old time stop-leak!

Thank you, yes, these were the original off-road vehicles. I am glad you enjoyed the video.
