Doesn't this guy know how to start a diesel engine??? First need to turn key and let the lights on the dash light up and go off and let ur fuel pump prime and the glow plugs light to turn off then turn key to start...

I have a dt466 an old one and it doesn't have glow plugs it fires off of compression so you need good batteries and appropriate diesel. You turn the key and the press the starter button to start. To stop you idle her down and pull the fuel cut off.

we do this to show people there are no starting issues. If you have to cycle the key or wait several times etc there is a issue. We love it when they start like they should no waiting etc. It does zero harm or damage
